Dave's POV

I sigh inwardly and turned my back,trudging through the long grass and retracing the path I had taken back to the Palace.Having a heightened sense's, strong sense of smell and a sharp night vision.I made may way down to the forest.Faster along with the other wolves,as darkness covered the Land there was a little to help. Highlight the route they must take back to the Palace.I stop at the end of the forest and order the wolves to shift back to their human form.Putting my clothes down that I carried with my muzzle,I crouch on the ground,closing my eyes to picture my human form in mind.Cracking and popping it sounds as my body begun to shift bone realigning in the process.Then after a few minute I stood up naked,picking my clothes up with my hand as I quickly put it on.We came out of the clearing. Making our way back to the gates of the Palace.

As I enter inside of the Hall to look for my mate,I found her in the arm of that damn womanizing Duke.Red haze fills the surrounding as I lengthen my stride to get near them.In a swift movement I manage to grab him by the neck with out warning, slamming him in the wall hard,denting the wall to its impact."Mine!"I growled at his face loud enough to make everyone around us cringed and back away.

I let Slade took over to gave this good for nothing,cheating bastard a lesson.I raised my hands in the air to gave him a one hard blow in the jaw.He didn't flinch as my hand connected on his jaw.He fell down on the ground with a loud thud.He quickly got up and dust himself smiling at me as if he didn't got hurt.

Which makes me even more furious,I huff and started to make my way around him in a swift movement.Only to have my back pushed against the wall.

"Enough!.....I order you to stop this none sense!"You are making Marynel scared of your wild nature you wolf!..You have mistaken of what you saw,I was just comforting Marynel when you saw us.I would not do such a thing you were thinking.Marynel is like a daughter to me. Titus said as he put more pressure to pin me to the wall as I struggle to break free from his grasp.

I tried to calm my self as I realize how stupid I acted in front of Marynel.I did not think resulting to make her fear me in the process.I took a deep breath,raising my hand to tell him that he could let me go already.

I dusted my self as he let go of me,I tried to get near her only to earn a whacked by Lana as she went on her beast mood.

What the hell! was that Dave,I almost gave birth in no time!You scared me and Marynel you damn pea size brain mutt!What were you thinking,your so stupid!....Lana said seething,mad at my drastict action.

Ouch! what was that for?I ask Lana holding my head massaging it to suffice the pain.

That is for being so stupid!.... she said waving her hand in the air to make an emphasis.

I walk past her and found Marynel hide her self at the corner of the hall covering her ears looking down.Rocking her self in attempt to calm her self,tears smeared her beautiful face.

I kneel down in front of her hesitant to touch her,Marynel!.... I called out her name making her cringed and hug herself more.She's scared of me I told my self angry for my misbehavior.

I glance at Lana's direction to seek for her help,for I don't know what to do.To make it up with Marynel.

She quickly went beside me and touch Marynel on the shoulder.

Hey!....Marynel its ok don't be scared,this damn mutt over here is just jealous thinking that Titus is making his advances to you while he is away.You see its a werewolf thing!....to be possessive of their mate and its ten times more,for Dave is an Alpha.You being mated to him is making him more restless and unease as he get all his strength to control himself from the pull.He doesn't want to make you scared.Its just that jealous got the best out of him.Making Slade got mad in the process.

After Lana explained everything with her,She slowly lift her head and looked at me with guilt.For not gaving me a chance awhile ago to explain my self.

Then without a word she threw herself at me crying,I loose my balance as she do that and we fell on the floor as she laid on top of me.I didn't move nor mind it,I just hug her.

Shush!....don't cry please I'm so sorry,I should have known better,I told her drawing circles on her back and whispering sweet nothing to calm her down.She wipe her tears away and sitted her self on top of me looking down at me with teary eyes,straddling me in the process.My breath hitch as she does that feeling the heat course through my veins and making my friend down there comes to life.

Fuck! I yelled as I grab her arms just above her elbow making her fall down I crushed my lips to hers.Sparks flew between us and she melted into my arms.As my hand slid down to rest on her waist and her hands wound it self on my neck.I teased her lips with my tongue and she grant me an entrance.As our tongue tangled together.Her hands make their way to my hair......

Uh!guy....you might want to get a room since your making a scene on the floor people are swarming all around you!Lana yelled at as,causing us to break away from each other.I stood up and carry her bridal style.As her face turned beet red due to what just happened between us.Let's get you out of her.I told her with a smirked as I made my way out of the clustering group of curious looking people jeering and whispering incoherent words throwing us a knowing look .I'm not ashamed to yelled out to their faced that she is my mate.I love her and I don't gave a damn on what they were thinking about her.
