Dave's POV

Unmeasurable joy and gladness filled my heart.Watching my mate from afar caressing her womb as she sitted herself in the rocking chair.She sat at the porch all alone as she made a quilt.A hobby she loves doing when ever she have vacant time.

Isn't our mate the fairest!...Slade uttered inside my head as he too contented himself eyeing our mate through my eyes.

I have no doubt about that Slade,we were so lucky having her as she is.I responded to Slade with a smirk.

Busy gawking at my mate I failed to notice that Dad is already behind me.

Son!what are you doing here peaking like you were to brew some tricks on someone?Dave's father ask him as he pat his shoulder from his back.To get his sons attention.

Shush! Dad what's the idea of scaring me?I yelled whispered to Dad as I turn around startled to keep his voice down.

Ah know I see why! You were watching over her from afar without her knowledge. Its nothing to be ashamed of son.We men all do it for our mates,in fact I did it to your mom too in the past.

You do!....I look at dad flabbergasted for his confession.

Yeah I did and I'm not ashamed of it son!...You see finding a mate is the greatest thing that happens to all of us wolf people. But having a child is another wave of joy that we can experience in life.Along with the changes that it will bring to us.

As our mates gives birth to our first born child being a first time father.Seeing your child so little,fragile and helpless.You will feel scared to hold them the first time,too afraid of causing them to get hurt.Yet as the time goes by quickly they grow up so fast before you even notice.How ever as you matured,you as a father will always have a strong desire to go home even if you are tired from work.Just to see your mate and child all the time,and as you see them all the tiredness that you felt will just melt away.The desire to protect and love them grow each day.And you will always have this strong urge to make them feel your warmth by means of just a simple hug you gave them as you felt like to never let them go of that embrace.

Son as you become a father the task will be on your shoulder to always carry with you a great responsibility of their lives.No matter what happen make sure that you will always be willing to lend your hands to help them in any way you can.Help our other halves to tell bed time stories to our child.As you and your mate tuck them to bed to sleep.And to always to try to keep them safe.

We father want nothing more but make our children happy.Know this.....Every moment spent with a child is priceless and a memories worth keeping in your heart and mind.Its the reason we have such love in our hearts.

Know and keep all this in mind son live with it as your guide and you will be a great dad to your son as he comes to this world we live in.Your mother and I were so proud of you. we know we raised you well and now its your turn to have a family of your own.We will be here always behind you and with open arms are willing to guide both of you.Dad told me those heart felt words of wisdom as we both stood side by side as we watch over Marynel from afar without her knowing.
