Chapter 19

Dave's POV

Nothing can match the happiness that I felt as she accepted to be the Luna of my pack.I felt so light like I was walking on top of clouds.Call me hopeless romantic or anything I don't care any more.As long as I felt so alive and happy with her nothing matters.

As we walk back to the palace to pack our things and head back to Aelven Palace.I felt Marynel's pain,I know that she is still mourning for the lost of his father.But she choose not to show it.To keep me from worrying about her.

I went to her side and hug her from the back,whispered sweet nothing to her ears.To help her calm down and divert her attention from mourning towards me.

She hugged me back as tears fell down her face,as her mask wear off and sorrow resurface.

I'm sorry I can't help my self from crying,I'm sorry I'm not strong as you want me to be.She weep as she embedded her face in my chest.Wetting my clothes as she clutch on my shoulder, she cried all her sorrow.

Hush now!.....its alright if you wanted to cry,its normal for us to let our selves mourn for the people we love.I know that you love him that much to set aside the all the bad things he had gave you.Still you had manage to forgave him and mourn for his lost.He is very lucky to have you as his daughter,your heart is so pure and strong willed that it help you surpassed those ordeals you have faced alone.The compassion you showed towards those who have wronged you is enough to see you as a strong person. Don't look at your self as a helpless and weak being.Because in my eyes you are more than to meet the eye.There is this strength that lay deep within you.Those person who struggle and succeeded all the trials and pain in life with out being known by others were the one who is considered to be stronger than those who show their sorrow and sulk doing nothing about it.The beauty you possessed is not just from the surface.But it also comes from within,a beauty beyond comparison.I told her as I hold on to her chin lifting it up for her to meet my gaze.

At the Aelven Palace.....

As we make it to Aelven Palace,we waste no time and aided those who are injured.As the war has ended,we are all in the process of rebuilding the entire kingdom.All the people are united to rebuild what was left.Fixing the ruins and rebuilding the house's of the Fae people helping them to start anew.

Marynel and Lana were assigned in the kitchen along with Irish to cook food for every body.They busied them selves by preparing food that could fit the whole kingdom.With the help of other Fae mothers they have successfully feed everybody.

As the task at hand is on going, I help to rebuild houses for the Fae to sheltered them in the night and for the days to come.Sweat fell down on my forehead and all over my body as the I carry the logs on my shoulder.I felt tired but I can't bring my self to rest,for there is more work all around in need to get fixed.

Truly war is easy to end but the remains of it is hard to rebuild.I told my self.As fatigue get its toll on my body.I slump my self down under a huge tree.To laid my back on it to rest for awhile. Looking around I caught the sight of my mate playing with the little kids as fits of laughter fills the air.She stood in the middle making funny faces and her animal friends entertained the little one's.They all went around her with happy innocent faces. I know that she is trying to make things easy for them.Helping them to ease the fear they had in their bossom.

What a beautiful sight to see!Knight uttered behind me as he stood at my back looking at my mate.

Yeah!it is.....I told him not letting my gaze went else where but to my mate.She is truly a fair maiden,I'm not ashamed to admit that I am truly smitten by her beauty.I send my thanks to the moon goddess in my mind for giving me a wonderful mate to cherish forever.

So is she coming with you back in the human world?Knight snap me out of my revere as he ask his question.I faced him and bob my head grinning from ear to ear in response.

Oh!I can see that the big bad mutt in front of me is turning in to a love sick pup!He told me then he tip back his head and burst out in laughter,as he mock me more.

Yeah laugh at it you jerk! I snap at him as I pull his legs causing him to loose his balance.And just his luck Mikhail caught him before he hit the ground.

Hey!what did I miss?Mikhail ask as he help Knight to stand up.

Oh!I was just teasing this love struck puppy over here.Knight told Mikhail as he snigger, dusting off him self as he stood on his own.

Oh!I hate it when both of you are together to pissed me off.I told them as I face palm my self,and walk away leaving the two of them.

I went to were my mate is,as she busied her self playing with the kids.

Hey can I help you with anything?I ask her as I got near her.

Kids!..... come everyone this is Dave the wolf that I told you in the story who help to save us from the Dark creatures.Marynel said as she gather all the kids around me.

I felt a little hands tug on my clothes,I kneel down so that they could all reach me.

Is he really is a wolf?I can't see his sharp teeth look.One of the kids sit on my lap and poke my face and spreading my mouth open peaking to look for a sharp tooth.

Maybe he loose his tooth when he fight those bad creature the other kid said as they all came near me.

Marynel let out a soft giggle as I throw here a look asking her to help me with the kids as the all came swarming around me.Pulling my clothes,tugging me squishing my face and pulling my hair.

They love you she uttered as she look at me with love.

Uh! I can see that I mumbled as the kids continue to play with my face and sit on my lap.
