Dave's POV

We made it out of the crowd,since it's getting dark now I brought her back to my room here in Titus Palace.

You take the bed I will sleep on the floor, I told her as I plop two of the pillow on the floor.Then I lay down a blanket to make it comfortable to lay down.

Why do that?this is your bed I have no right to take it from you.And its of wide space,we could at least share.Marynel ask in her innocence's and inviting me to lay beside her.

Don't make this hard for me,I told her groaning,raking may hair.Slade growl in my head as he whined for my refusal to be near our mate.He is trying to claw his way out to took over but I didn't let him.I told him my reason and he did understand after a few minute of covincing he finally gave up.

As much as I want to,but I can't because if I let my self to get near you.I don't think I can restrain my self,the pull is getting stronger.You don't know how much I want to pin you down in that bed and mark you right now!To make everyone know that you are mine.But I will fight the urge as much as I can.I don't want to force you in something that you are still not ready for.Marynel you are my mate and it is my duty to make sure of your well being.I told her scowling,I know I look like and idiot right now for refusing her offer.But I don't feel bad about it don't get me wrong!.... I hope she understand me for doing this.

She just sat on the bed looking at me with a smile on her lovely face a sign that she understand what I just told her.

Marynel's POV

Dave look's so handsome with that constant scowl on his face,but that faint smile that grace his lips as he look at me.Is so devastating,leaving me breathless,I averted my gaze from him heaving a deep breath to calm the chaos inside me.When I have calm my sense I glance at his face again and that smile still linger there.I felt my heart warm at the sight.

You are very vocal of what you felt for me,and your concern is deeply appreciated. I never thought that after all the hurt I have been through. The Gods make it up to me by granting me a loving and caring mate.And I thank them for that,it is true,that I am not yet ready for any of this.But I'm willing to act upon it.

Dave I want you to know that were ever you go,I will be with you.And all the things that is important to you is of great importance to me too.You are not just my mate,you are my family now,you are the only thing I have now,I already lost my father.And I wish that fate would be kind to us and spare us with a better future together.I told him with all my heart poured out in every word I uttered.

Yeah!.....he said yawning looking sleepy,Can I get at least a good night kiss before we sleep for being a good mate he said grinning with a mischievous glint on his eyes.

I hoist my self up on the bed and went kneeling to his side.I peck a light kiss on his lips,good night Dave I told him then.I got up quickly and went back to bed.I lay down giving him my back,for him not to see me turning beet red due to the effect of that simple kiss,I gave him.

I heard him chuckle,good night lovely! He said them he mumbled some words while yawning that I can no longer comprehend for sleep quickly took over me.
