For you? Anything {Hide X Kaneki}

Chapter 2

Kaneki's POV

"Do you want to do homework?"
"Yeah I have a paper do, in a few days that I haven't even started."
Hide laughed and I watched him as I did. I love his laugh it was so calming. After laughing he looked at me and smiled before asking, "do you want help with it?"

"Oh uh I don't want to be a bother to you I think I'm  fine."
"Typical Kaneki always thinking about everyone else besides himself. I love being around you... you've been rather distant lately and I would live to help you with your paper."

I smiled softly, it was so like Hide to say something like that. I pulled my laptop out of my backpack and Hide walked into the kitchen while I got my stuff set up.

I smelled the sweet aroma of coffee and it reminded me just how hungry I was. My stomach felt like it was eating itself and I felt my eye start to twitch. I held back best I could, but I was really hungry.

Hide brought me a cup of coffee and it past my mind that he made coffee instead of asking if I wanted food. I knew that coffee wouldn't feed my hunger though. Hide sat in front of me and he looked slightly scared.

"Kaneki... are you ok?" I realized I had ripped off my eye patch when I got extremely hungry moments before now and I could feel the veins around my red and black eye popping out and becoming red.

My heart skipped a beat and I couldn't think. I couldn't talk. I couldn't breathe. I took both hands and quickly covered my eye. Hide leaned into me and softly pulled my hands away. The smell of his flesh filled my nose.

He smelled better than any other human I had eaten. "H-hide g-gg-get away from me!" His eyes were full of fear yet he didn't move.
"Kaneki I've known you were a ghoul since you became one. I've known you my whole life there's no away I couldn't have noticed."

"It's not that. You need to get away from me right now!" I had to fight the erge to bite him. All I could think about was how good he would taste. My mouth was watery and my eye glowed an even brighter red. I felt drool drip out of my mouth and in my last moments of sanity I screamed, "HIDE GET AWAY!"

He didn't move I don't know if he was to scared or if it was something else but he wouldn't leave. I felt my mouth foaming and I leaned forward and roughly grabbed Hide by the shoulders.

He closed his eyes tightly and I saw the pain in his face. I stopped as if I could control myself again at least for a second. My whole body was shaking and I started to cry.

I was so hungry I needed to eat. My mind told my to dive in and eat Hide and I was about to when I heard a voice.

"It's a-alright. Just one bite that's all you need right?" He took off his shirt and normally It's would take time and enjoy the sight but all my mind said was FOOD FOOD FOOD.
