FIRST OFF THANK YOU!!!!

Okay so, I'm gonna be honest I didn't think the last chapter was that good but then I read the comments you guys left and excuse my language but holy shit! Apparently I made you cry??? Like, sorry but thanks.

You guys had no idea how happy your comments made me, I was sitting on the bus by myself grinning like an idiot, so thanks.

Anyways, here's the next chapter...I hope I don't make you cry again :/

***

A familiar ring consumes my hearing and wakes me up. Rubbing my eyes my vision starts to focus on the phone beside my bed ringing.

I see 'Harry' across the screen and I pick it straight away.

'Hello?' I say wincing into the phone, suddenly noticing how dry my throat is.

'Lylah, where are you?' I sense the urgency in his tone and it wakes me up slightly more.

'I just woke up.'

I hear him mutter a curse under his breath and I sit up on bed, rubbing my eyes.

'What's going on?' I mumble.

'Lylah it's 7:45.'

Fuck.

I groan into the phone, 'okay, I'm sorry; I'll get there as soon as I can.'

He sighs, 'it's alright, I'll get your coffee takeaway and come pick you up so we're not late.'

I thank him and hang up so I can get ready.

I push myself out of bed and have the quickest shower of my life. I must've forgotten to set an alarm last night after I found out Mia is moving out. I'm not gonna tell Harry just yet not because I don't want him to know but I just don't want to talk about it.

I finish getting ready and throw on my dark jeans and grey sloppy joe.

I quickly tie my hair up into a messy bun before I hear a message come through on my phone.

From; Harry:

I'm down stairs with your coffee. Xx

I smile and slide my phone into my back pocket.

I jog down the stairs to see his car parked out the front with him looking through the passenger side window.

His down is down and fluffy making him look adorable and his attire is simple like always with a daggy white shirt and black skinny jeans.

I smile at him as he hands me my coffee. 'Thank you so much, I forgot to set my alarm.'

He chuckles at me and leans over to give me quick kiss, 'don't worry about it.'

I take a large sip of my coffee and lean my head against the window sighing, the small amount of adrenaline I got from waking up late is now gone and now I'm just tired.

I feel Harry's hand on thigh and I give it a soft squeeze, letting him know I appreciate the gesture.

'You alright?' he asks quickly at me before turning back to the road.

'Yeah, just tired.' I say, which I guess isn't a complete lie because I am.

We stop at a red light and he turns to me with furrowed eyebrows, 'maybe you shouldn't go to your class today.'

I chuckle, 'Harry I'm fine, seriously.'

We stay quiet for the rest of the trip with only me sipping my coffee and various indie songs playing in the background. I know he wants to ask me questions about why I woke up late because anyone who knows me knows that I check I have my alarm on at least twice before I go to bed.
