My fingers circle the rim of the mug as I wait for my bacon and egg roll to come. Harry and I are getting breakfast at Brewed today since Harry, Niall or I haven't gone grocery shopping in about two weeks. Niall has spending a lot of time with that girl Emma whose in their circle of friends, Harry hasn't gone since he's been distracted with his dad. And my excuse...well I told Harry before moving in I don't like going grocery shopping so he told me I didn't have worry about it. So I didn't.
This morning harry got annoyed at me, when I got annoyed at him for not doing any shopping. I told him I didn't have the money to be buying breakfast as well as my morning coffee all the time. I heard him mutter under his breath asking why I didn't do it myself and I guess he's right, I should just try and go as often as I can but he seems to forget that he promised me I wouldn't have to if I didn't want to.
I sigh and look up at Harry, a frown set on his beautiful face as well as his phone.
As I see someone bring over our food and I place it in front of us I say thank you and smile up at the lady.
'Harry, the food is here,' I say.
He puts his phone down on the table and picks up the spoon for his granola and fresh fruit.
'Everything okay?' I ask. He hasn't spoken to me about his dad even though his massive tantrum was over three days ago.
'Yeah, just Gemma.' He mutters.
I nod and take a small bite of the sandwich. 'You know she's just trying to make the situation right.'
'Yeah, well she has a funny way of showing it.' He says before popping a strawberry in his mouth.
I wipe my mouth my mouth with my napkin and take a sip of water. I'm not even sure what to say, I know I don't know the whole story but I'm really trying to let Harry know I'm there for him but for some reason he's distancing himself.
As if reading my thoughts he reaches his hand across the table and takes it in his, 'I'm sorry you have to be around while all of this is going down.'
It wasn't quite the apology I was hoping for but I smile anyway and squeeze his hand, 'it's okay, just know that you can talk to me if you want.'
He slightly smiles before looking back down at his bowl and letting go of my hand again.
'What are you gonna do for dinner?' I ask
He shrugs, 'I don't know, what you wanna do?'
I almost roll my eyes at him, 'Harry, I'm seeing Alex tonight, remember?'
His eyes go wider in realisation, 'oh yeah, sorry I forgot.'
'It's alright,' I smile.

I step into the darkly lit bar and halfway down the room to the left spot Alex's long brown hair, with a drink and phone in her hand.
I walk through the small crowd of people, huddling around tables, careful not to bump into anyone. 'Hey,' I smile.
She looks up at me and flashes a big smile, 'hey Lylah,' she smiles, quickly placing down her drink and phone before pulling me in for a hug. Her long legs, making me only come up to her ear.
