Hurry we need your help! We’re south of the old church! Quick!

I started running in that direction. I was worried. I may not like Michael but I’m still worried about him. God I hope he is okay. Damn it Scarlett! Don’t think like that. “Are you guys coming?” I yelled back at everyone.

“Wait Scarlett!” I heard Dan call. I stopped and turned around.

“What?” I asked harshly.

“I think some of us should go and the rest stay behind.” He looked at me expectantly.

“Fine. You come with me. Girls stay in this area, don’t roam off, because I don’t want to be out all night looking for you. Okay?” I didn’t wait for a reply; instead I just started running towards the church.

“Slow down Letty! We don’t want to scare off whoever their having trouble with.” I heard Dan yell from somewhere behind me.

“I don’t care just as long as Michael is safe I don-“I stopped mid-sentence realizing what I had just said.

Please hurry Letty! Help us!

I heard Michael ask desperately. “Hurry.” I said running faster than I already was.

I’m coming. I promise I won’t be long Michael. I replied through our mind link. I started to hear some noise farther in the trees. I signalled to Dan to stop running so we didn’t scare off the enemy.

“If we don’t hurry that Scarlett bitch will be here soon.” I overheard a rough voice.

“Oh, let her come, everyone is welcome to this party!” I heard a female voice say happily.

“Let’s go.” I mouthed to Dan. I felt someone grab my arm and spin me around. “What the hell Dan?” I muttered angrily.

“We need a plan. We can’t just rock up unprotected. It isn’t very smart.” Dan observed the obvious.

“I was going to make it up but I thought that if we didn’t hurry something bad would happen. But now that you insist, what’s your plan big boy?” I asked in a hurry.

“Okay so, you go from this side and I’ll go from the other. We’ll grab everyone who is tied up without people near them; but do it so you aren’t noticed. Once we’ve done that everyone will go and get the people being held captive by people. Got it?” Dan asked.

“Umm…yep sure, let’s go.” I replied. Dan quietly made his way to the opposite side.

He sent me a message through the mind link, let’s do this.

I quietly ran towards Blake and untied him. I gestured to him to help Dan and I untie everyone else. Once everyone was untied, unnoticed, we met a few feet into the tree line.

“Thank goodness you two are here.” Katrena said happily.

“Yeah thanks.” Jayden muttered. Blake didn’t reply, he just gave me a slight nod with his head.

“So how are we going to get the other two out?” Jayden asked.

“Well there are only three of them and four of us; so we need a distraction that will make, at least one of them leave.
