Lily and Bella came down the stairs for dinner.
Peter had pulled himself out of bed for a bit. When Bella noticed him, she hissed angrily. He jumped back.
“B-b-bella!”
She hissed again.
Peter looked at Lily, who picked up Bella. “Be nice,” she chided. She looked at Peter. “Albus asked us to watch her for a bit.”
Peter looked away. “O-oh.”
Lily rolled her eyes and carried Bella down the last few stairs.
It was Remus’ turn to cook, so the meal wasn’t going to be a complete disaster. They’d given up on James, he couldn’t cook to save his life.
Sirius, surprisingly, was a really talented chef, and they all looked forward to his day to cook.
Lily was the second best cook, due to her potions background, though she always found something lacking in her work in the kitchen.
Peter was pretty good too. Cooking really was a miracle skill.
They all sat down to eat.
