I sat on the floor as the tears fell and the walls caved in all around.

When I was younger, I was promised a hero.

So where is my Hercules?

Where's the hero riding in to save me?

Midnight comes and I've made it to the bed.

There's a million thoughts playing throughout my head.

The screams penetrate the walls, floating all about and falling down.

When I was little, I was promised a fairytale ending.

Where's my hero now?

I can't sleep with all the thoughts invading my dreams.

I toss and I turn and I know there's no hope for me up ahead.

Where's my hero?

He has to be soon, he has to be fast for I fear I won't survive the night.

I need a Superman to wake me and save me from this bad, bad dream.

Is there someone watching out for me?

I know I'll meet a hero. I know he'll hold me tight and make everything alright.

I'm holding out for this heor until the morning light.

Will you be larger than life?
