Without thinking, Camilia tackled Link down, so that the axe missed him. She felt the whoosh of the axe as it just missed her. Glancing at each other, they had an unspoken understanding. Leaping off of him, she barreled into the ghost knocking him down to the ground. She sank her teeth into its neck. Screaming, something black with what looked like a red swirling galaxy within the black ball rose from its chest. Link barked in warning, and Camilia leapt backwards awkwardly to let Link take charge. Before the ghost could take the black ball back inside itself, Link landed on him, seized the black thing within his jaws, and flipped off of the ghost. The ghost let out a final strangled cry before exploding into white nothingness. Panting, Link set the black ball down. Midna, who had leapt off of Camilia's back when she leapt toward Link, inspected the black thing carefully.

"That's a poe soul. That thing that you battled is called a Poe. This," Midna picked up the soul, "Isn't its actual soul. It is, in fact, part of someone else's soul. This is how almost all Poes live. They make a deal with someone and split up their soul between other poes and live off of it," Midna explained.

Moving to take the poe soul from Midna, Camilia examined it.

"So someone sold their soul to these.. Poes in order to get something?" Camilia asked.

Midna nodded. Midna took the soul from Camilia and with a wave of her hand it disappeared.

"Don't worry, I'll keep it safe," Midna assured them.

Shrugging, Camilia gestured to Midna to lead the way to the last tear of light. When Camilia landed on the platform, she saw the tear of light dig its way underground. Leaping awkwardly, it got underground right before Camilia landed.

Darn it! She thought angrily. How am I gonna get it now?

All of a sudden Camilia thought of an idea. Chasing it above ground, she jumped two steps ahead of the bug, and dug down faster than she thought she could. The insect saw her at the last minute and turned to scramble away, but Camilia forced it above ground and killed it with one swipe. Glancing up she saw Link gazing at her amusedly with Midna at his side with her arms crossed also looking at her with laughter dancing in her eyes.

"Well I had to get it somehow!" Camilia protested defensively.

Chuckling. Link said, "I know, but it doesn't make it any less amusing."

"Hehehe, just collect the final tear," Midna said giggling.

Muttering under her breath, Camilia stepped up to the tear, and it filled her with warmth, and filled up the vessel. Glancing at Midna and Link, Midna put her hand on Camilia's back and gestured to Link that he had to do so himself. Walking over, he placed a paw on her back. Just as he did that, they all turned blue as well and they all spun, and teleported at the spring.

Giggling, Midna said, "My turn!"

The filled vessel wrapped around Camilia's paw became undone and floated into the spring, falling into the water. Midna followed suit. Link closed his eyes, and Camilia followed. When she did, she was enveloped in warmth, like when she collected a tear but ten times warmer. When she opened her eyes, she was in a blue tunic. Looking at her hands, they were in brown fingerless gloves. She was wearing a blue tunic with a blue hat, and brown boots.

"Thank you, Chosen One..."

Looking at the spring, she saw what looked like a deer, with enormous antlers, with a big ball of light between its antlers.

"You saved this land... but.. not all of Hyrule.."

Confused, but intrigued, Camilia continued to listen.
