As Camilia and Midna exited the battle site, Midna yanked on Camilia's ears. "OW, THAT HURT!" Camilia yelped.

"Listen," Midna said. Standing still, silently, Camilia heard a horrible moaning.

"That's the sound of the Faron. That's the sound that they make when almost all of their power was taken away," Midna said lowly.

Camilia shook her head and just continued walking.

After a while of trudging through the woods and defeating several deku babas (plants with big heads with spiky teeth and green slime and drool), Camilia noticed that the moaning had gotten significantly louder. Shaking Midna off to wake her up from her nap, she listened hard.

"HEY, WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Midna shouted.

"Be quiet and listen!" Camilia whisper-shouted. Stopping and listening to Camilia, Midna said, "We're really close."

Walking slowly, she saw a light in the distance. Breaking into a sprint she stopped right before walking into the water.

Midna, just catching up with her said breathlessly, "Don't... worry, the water's... not gonna... hurt you."

Ignoring Midna's breathless state, Camilia padded forward, towards the spirit. Then the spirit talked to her.

"Camilia.. the Chosen One... please.. help me... take this... and fill it with tears.. of light. These.. creatures.. can only be seen.. by you... I... shall use the last.. of my power.. to implant the sites.. of these tears... in your mind...."

Camilia seized up and opened her eyes wide. Her eyes were golden, and in her mind, she was rushing through where all of the tears of light were hidden. Last of all, she saw a horrible white bug with six legs. Then she gasped, and her knees buckled. Shaking her head, she stood up.

Midna was at her side immediately.

"Are you ok?" Midna asked, worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry," Camilia shook Midna off.

When Camilia looked up, she saw that the spirit had disappeared, and that the awful moaning had stopped.

Ok, now time to get to work. Now where's the first tear... all of a sudden an image popped up in her head. There it is.

Camilia signaled to Midna that they would start moving. Trotting through the dark passageways, Camilia saw a hint of movement. Whipping her head around to see it, it scurried away. Dropping down into a squat, she narrowed her eyes and locked on to it. With a burst of speed Camilia tore over to the creature, leapt and landed on it, killing it with one blow. She was disgusted to see that it was as big as two of her paws put together. Then it curled up into a little ball and exploded. Then the explosion turned into a little blue ball and floated into the tear of light vessel. Camilia felt a burst of warmth, and her fur turned blue for a moment, before turning back into the normal gold fur with white designs. Shaking it off, she thought about the next location and took off running to the site.

After a while, she was down to one last tear. When the image flashed in her head there was purple fog all over. Worried she padded over to the spot. When she reached it she gasped in horror. There was purple fog all OVER! Just as she was going to jump to the first piece of flat land, she jumped with all of her might and still couldn't make it. Screeching in horror, she prepared to hit the ground, and be poisoned. Shutting her eyes, she felt that she wasn't moving.

Huh?

Midna was concentrating hard. With a final yell, she threw Camilia onto the ground by Midna. Panting Midna said, "Let.. me do.. this.. Ok. So what we're gonna do is, I'm going to float over there, then beckon you over with my hair. When you jump, you will have a burst of speed and balance, so you'll never miss, and land where I would be. Ok?"

Nodding her consent she prepared to jump. Just as she was going to leap up, something barreled into her, knocking her breath out. Grunting, she rolled away from her attacker.

Glancing over she inhaled sharply when she saw what looked like her twin, just with gray fur. He lunged for her, teeth bared menacingly. A wave of fury rippled through her. Snarling she bared her teeth back at the other wolf, leaped in the air and landed on his back. Spitting with fury, the other wolf spun around quickly, but Camilia sunk her claws into his hind legs. She could see that what she was doing was hurting him, but he wasn't showing any hint of pain. He flipped back, and forcefully landed on his back, injuring Camilia. Howling in pain she yelled, "Wait, no! I'm just like you!"

All of a sudden the wolf froze. Immediately rolling off of her, he focused his crystal clear sky blue eyes on her. Rolling onto her feet, she shook herself and gazed back at him.

"Wait... you can understand me?" Camilia asked curiously.

"Yes... How do you look exactly like me, but just with golden fur?" the gray wolf asked starting to circle her.

"I don't know.. I just saw a man dressed completely in black threaten to kill my great-grandma, and passed out, waking up in this darkness, and then I met Midna, and I've been looking for tears of light since."

Stopping his slow circles around her, he looked at her with a fire burning in his eyes. "Did.. were... Were you called the Chosen One?"

"Yes I-- How do you know about this 'Chosen One' thing? Were- are- you also a Chosen One?" Camilia said her golden eyes twinkling at the thought of not having to go through all of this alone.

"Y-yes." The wolf responded unsurely.

"Well I'm Link." he said simply.

"I'm Camilia," she responded.

"I hate to break up this little love-fest but we need to get the last tear of light up ahead." Midna said impatiently. Link fixed his even stare upon her.

"You can't get through. If you take one step in that fog, you'll die," Link said, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at Midna. Smirking Midna simply floated up to a branch. Releasing her hair, she beckoned to Camilia. Giving Link an apologetic look, she focused on Midna and jumped. Just like Midna said, she landed right where Midna was, and followed her for the last two jumps before landing safely on the next platform. Link was watching Camilia intently, then as Midna, floats back over to Link, he focuses intently on Midna. Leaping in the air, he completes the next three jumps easily, landing right next to Camilia. They repeated the process until they got to a level where there was a creature holding an axe and a lantern, with a ghostly appearance.

What is that?

Just as Link landed next to her the creature let out a ghostly scream and hurled his axe toward them.
