When Zelda awoke, Midna was missing.
Oh no! Midna!
Instantly awake, Zelda rushed outside and searched frantically for Midna. Looking up, she saw Midna sitting up on the window, gazing at the sky. Smiling, Zelda climbed up to the roof and sat down next to Midna.
Midna turned to Zelda and said, "You ready to go to the next site of twilight?"
Laughing Zelda shook her head and said, "Isn't it so weird? I wake up as wolf after my.. 'great-grandma' runs away from me, and the land is cloaked in darkness. Ha. Then I meet you and Link, and now we're a team."
Sighing, Zelda rose to her feet. "Let's go do this thing."
Midna rose too. "Let's go."
Walking down, they saw Link still sleeping. Rolling her eyes Zelda walked over to him. Before she moved to wake him, she inspected his face.
He's pretty hot when he's sleeping.
Blushing at what she just thought, she woke him.
"Hrgh.. whaaa.. what?" Link murmured turning around.
Laughing, Zelda pushed him off of the bench where they had all slept. Falling on the floor immediately woke up Link. Shaking his head, Link looked over at Midna and Zelda.
"Alright, so I take it we're all ready to go take on the next site covered in twilight?" Link asked.
"Actually, we need to get you two some swords and shields," Midna said thinking.
"Not a problem. I have a lot of money. We can just buy a sword," Zelda said easily.
"Come on, we have to leave now because it's quite aways away," Zelda said impatiently.
"Wait one second.." Link said, eyes narrowed searching the ground for something.
"Well hurry!" Zelda said crossing her arms.
Spotting what he was looking for, he jogged over to the edge of the spring, and picked a horseshoe shaped plant, and whistled into it. All of a sudden, there was a neigh, and a horse came running over.
"Hey... hey.. easy there, girl easy," Link said petting the horse's head affectionately.
"That's your horse?" Zelda asked.
"Yep. Cam-Zelda, this is Epona. Epona, Zelda," Link said, turning slightly pink at his blunder.
Waving off his mistake, Zelda walked up to the horse.
"Hey, Epona! Wow, you're such a soft horse! I'll bet you're so strong!" Zelda cooed.
Awkwardly breaking up the two of them, Link said, "This'll make the ride much more quicker."
Clearing her throat Zelda agreed, "Yes.. erm.. let's go."
Link got on easily and offered a hand to Zelda. Right before climbing up, Midna pulled her aside quickly.
"Well, umm... is it ok if I become your shadow? I'm just not used--"
Cutting Midna off, Zelda nodded and said easily, "You don't have to make up an excuse, Midna. It's fine! Go ahead."
Disappearing, Zelda looked at her shadow with a newfound curiosity.
"Ahem. Are we going?"
Glancing up at Link, Zelda nodded and quickly said, "Yes! Umm, sorry for keeping you waiting."
Offering Zelda a hand in getting up, she smiled and said, rolling her eyes, "What a gentleman," and accepted his offer with a smile.
"Ok, come on, Epona, go to--"
