I woke up to Luke shaking me. I look around at my surroundings and we are in front of an ice cream parlor. I look at Luke and he is dressed in the same clothes from the time he took me to the movies. Holy cap did I just dream all of that.
"What's wrong Kara?" Luke asks his voice full of worry.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking." I say putting my hand on top of his.
"What are you thinking about?" He asks curiosity striking him.
"Just that my dream felt so real." I say not making eye contact.
"Let's go get ice cream." Luke says, probably sensing I don't want to talk about it.
"Okay." I say and we get out of the car and walk into the parlor.
"What type of ice cream are you getting?" Luke asks walking over to me and grabbing my hand.
"Whatever flavor you get." I reply.
"That was easy." He laughs.
