"I'm sorry." Luke says grabbing my hand.
"Is it for tour?" I ask as a tear rolls down my cheek.
"Yes. I'm so so so sorry." He says wiping the tears off my cheeks.
"Don't be. It's your job. It's what you do. The are a million other people on this world who love you and your music. I accept the fact that I have to share you with Ashton, Michael, Calum and your fans. So you're going to go on tour and you're going to kill every single show." I say standing up and Luke does too.
"Where are we going?" He asks ad I guide us to his car.
I don't answer him because I know if I do I am going to start crying. I get in the passenger seat of the car and put my seat belt on. Just as I'm about to close the door Luke holds it open.
"Kara look at me please." I look at my feet as the tears build up in my eyes, "Kara please don't cry." He says as he moves my face to look at him.
"I just got you back. I can't lose you again." I say as he wipes away the tars that have begun to cascade down my face.
"You won't. I promise." He says.
"You said that last time too and when I tried to call you never answered. I would leave a voice mail asking for you to call me back. But I never got one. You never responded to any of my texts. I lost you. You forgot about me. It felt like you didn't care about me any more Luke. And it's going to happen again." I said quietly.
"I-I didn't mean- I'm so sorry." He says trying to hug me but I push him away.
"Can you take me home please?" I ask. Luke closes the door and walks over to the drivers side and gets in.
The car ride to my house is silent other than the occasional apologies from Luke. When we get to my house I get out of the car without saying a word and start walking to the door when a hand wraps around my arm and turns me around.
"Kara, I know I fucked up. I'm so so so sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you for four years. If I could go back in time and change what I did I would-"
"But you can't go back in time and you're only saying that because I'm upset." I say taking my arm out of Luke's grip and running into my house.
