16. I'm trying

4 months later

I was getting ready for my last day of school before Christmas brake. I don't see Logan much just at work really. I haven't really gotten over my crush for him but I don't show it. At work he doesn't say much to me and I don't say much either.

I heard a knock on my door pulling me out of though.

"Come in."

"Hey." Logan asked walking in.

"Hey." I said back to him.

"My car won't start can you give me a ride to work." He asked looking down.

"Yeah sure." I said grabbing my jacket.

It was cold now and the snow wasn't my favorite but I was pretty.

I walked pass him and he followed. David was in the kitchen playing on his phone when I walked out.

"Off to school?" David asked.

"After I drop off Logan."I said grabbing the cup of tea he offered.

"Sorry mate I would have drop you off but Leanna has the car. She's with Jess and Justin for the day. After school you should catch up with them." David said turning to me.

"I would but I have homework I want to get done. I'm going to be stuck here all night." I put my cup in the sink.

"Lucky you, since the girls are going to be gone and I'm visiting my grandmother for the week. Rowan and Conner are going to be out of town this week. Mason, Jess and the baby are going to be on holiday. Leanna going to catch up with me tonight to spend the week with me." David said.

I turn to him and he was smiling at me.

"You told me all of that because?" I asked.

"It means it's just you and I this whole week. Your family are getting there stuff to move this week right?" Logan asked.

Oh god I didn't notice that. I nodded to him and David laughed at me. No way could I spend a week with just Logan.

"Ummm let's go." As I walked out the house with Logan close behind.

We got into the car and I pulled off.

"Want to get dinner tonight?" Logan asked.

"Yeah." I said still watching the road.

"You said yeah, that's shocking." He said sarcastically.

"What dose that mean?" I said annoyed.

"Come on Violet you've been ignoring and dodging me for a while now. You looked like being with me is the worst thing ever." He said with a huff.

"Oh it's just I don't want you to make any mistakes with me again." I said.

I glanced at him and he was watching me.

"I'm sorry I said that, I made a lot of mistakes with you but making love to you wasn't one." He looked out the window.

"Making love? You mean we had sex." I said stopping at a light.

He looked at me but before He could answer my phone rang. I looked at name and it was George for the 5th time today. It was only 10:39 and I was sick of ignoring his calls.

I put the phone back down and Logan grabbed it.

"Why is he still calling you?" He said angry.

"I don't know." I said nonchalant.

He ignored the call and put my phone down.

"Are you fucking him again?" He asked angry.

"Why do you care if I am?" I asked angry.

"Because I told you not to let anyone touch you." He almost yelled.

"Well your not touching me!" I yelled back.

I stopped in front of the store but Logan didn't get out.

"Are you fucking him again?" He asked calm.

I looked at him and huffed.

"No, I live with you now. I'm sure you would notice if I just disappeared. I go to school then work then home everyday. If I'm not there I'm at Mason's house." I looked at the time.

He pulled the door open and stepped out.

"Alright go to school then." He slammed the door behind himself.

I just him watch him, he was a sexy, jealous jerk. But just like he said I was going to school.

It was about 3:30 once I was done with everything at school. I was waiting on Logan outside the store when Thomas pulled up. He stepped out the car and waved to me. I ignored his wave, then he tapped the window.

"Violet can we talk?" He asked though the window.

I saw how Logan and Mason both watch me. I unlocked the door and he got in.

"Violet it's been a while and I wanted to talk to you about what happened. I'm sorry for what I said about you." He said sadly.

"It's done and over with, I forgive you." I said smiling at him.

I wasn't going to hold on to something so stupid.

"Can I have a hug?" He asked smiling.

I leaned over to hug him but before I could his door opened and he was pulled out. I was pulled out to and turned to see Logan. I looked to see Mason punch Thomas and throw him to the ground.

"What the fuck Violet?!" Logan yelled.

I was so confused by what was going on here. I pushed him and tried to stop Mason. He pulled Thomas from the ground and punched him tossing him into his car.

"Get the fuck out of here!" Mason yelled to him.

He did as directed and pulled off.

"What are you doing hugging him?" Mason yelled at me.

"I told you to stay away from him." Logan yelled.

"Stop yelling!" I yelled to them.

"Logan that's your girl, you talk to her." Mason said walking to the store.

I got into the car and Logan did the same. My hands were shaking from the sudden excitement and I couldn't get them to stop.

"Why do you keep doing this to me Violet?" He said with a cracking voice.

I looked to him and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He was crying.

"I'm trying so hard to protect you and to love you from a distance but you won't let me. If I try to get close to you, you just hurt my feelings. I love but you just make it hard for me to." He said putting his head down.

I didn't know what to say to him. This was a shock to me, I didn't know he felt that why.

"I'm sorry." I said low.

"Let's just go home." He said with his head still down.

I felt like shit now but it was his fault to.
