~A visual of Emily at the side~
CHAPTER 1 | The Legendary Bitch with Fake D-Cups
New people and new places will be a great start.
I contradict that statement. Yes, new people and a new place would sound fun and exciting - maybe for other people excluding me. All my life, new faces were introduced; new faces were forgotten. If I were to list down all the people that came in and out of my life, may God bless the fate of Domtar Corporation.
Lately, my father had been proposed to better jobs the fast ten years of my life. So, that includes moving. At the beginning, I used to protest of my father's decision. All he said to me was, "Suck it up. This is life, Emily." So, I obliged, and I had gotten used to all of these in my life.
Gladly, my family has moved to this town which I had lived in once in my childhood. Most people would be happy; I was never one of those people. The place I once grew up in had changed. The faces of my old childhood friends had been long forgotten. Well, it was part of my life routine anyways.
A snap of two fingers snapped me out of my monologue.
"Emily, we are here," says my older brother, Anthony. He helps me out of the vehicle and closes the door behind me.
I slung my book bag behind me and brushed my jeans. I looked up at the building which is called: School. I let out a sigh and walked towards the entrance with Anthony by my side. On the way, I inspected the faces of the fellow students. Some did pulled a gut of familiarization in me.
I soon entered the threshold of the building. Students bustled through the hallways. Some stood by their lockers, either chatting or on their free time. I sauntered through the hallway towards the office, never missing a single face. Soon, a chime from the bell disengaged me from my inspection. Anthony pulled me into the office.
A lady behind a computer screen greeted us in a friendly manner. She assumed that we were the new transferees and quickly printed out our schedules along with the map of the school. Sh then gave us a quick good luck and ushered us out to go to our class.
"Well, I guess we will have to go to class now. See you after school Emily. Make some new friends. Enjoy today," he says; then he walks of to the opposite direction.
Make some new friends.
No thank you.
I quickly looked at my schedule, then at the map. I dawdled through the hallways into other buildings just looking for my designated classroom. For what seemed as few hours which was actually ten minutes, I found it. I pushed open the door and walked into the room. Thirty pairs of eyes clicked my way, either innocently wondering or hatefully judging.
I couldn't care less.
The teacher greeted me and introduced me to the class. Greetings were bounced back and forth between the students and me. I was then instructed to take a seat where I trudged towards the back of the classroom.
Perfect.
The teacher resumed to the lecture, and I grantly listened. Never was I one of those slackers - due to the fact my parents are strict when it comes to education. Ms. Herald droned on with the lecture, and my mind was forcefully attaining the information. Suddenly, the quirky girl beside me nudged me at the side.
I turned to her with a glare which she gladly gave a smile in return.
"Hello, Emily," she says. "I am Maria."
I was honestly not going to make friends, but I couldn't dare hurt this girl'f feeling by rejection. So, I return the greeting.
"Hey Maria," I chirped with a smile.
