CHAPTER 10 | Not a Rapist. Not a Stalker. Maybe a Pedo?

All I could say was that things had gone back to normal. Brandon and I were back to our normal childish play dates. There is no change to that.

As for today, a beautiful Saturday in late September, Brandon and I will have a mall date - just friends, unfortunately. We plan to watch the new Marvel superheroes movie that had been released a week ago. Yeah, I love the action movies best.

We entered the mall and strolled towards the cinema wing. Gladly, there was no line for purchasing a ticket, so no wait needed. After buying our tickets to the movie we wanted to watch, we walked towards the entrance and gave the employee our tickets. As we entered, the aroma of popcorns wafted throughout the cinema, and my stomach couldn't help but grumble.

"Popcorn!" I screamed with enthusiasm. I rushed towards an available counter, leaving Brandon to rush after me.

"One large popcorn with extra, extra butter," I say to the employee. "Get me a drink with that, and no more. Don't you dare ask me if I want some of your nachos or candies. If I did, I would've have ordered, so don't bother wasting your breath, bro."

The guy gaped at me before punching in my order and informing me the amount I have to pay. As I took out my bills and coins, the guy went and got me my popcorn and drink.

"You could've waited for me, you know?" Brandon says behind me.

"Too slow."

After paying for my food, I went and took the bucket and waited for Brandon as he got up to the counter and ordered his own food. After he had ordered and received his own, we both walked to our designated watch room. The cold air slapped onto my face and caused a few goose bumps to form on my arms. We both climbed the stairs up the cinema to the very top - the best seat in the house!

I slumped myself into the cushion seat and proceeded to munch on my popcorn. There were a few more minutes until the trailers roll in, and I am pretty sure I would be half done with my large popcorn. Beside me, Brandon crunched on his nachos and stared at the huge screen, reading a few ads projected on it.

After a few minutes of nothing but eating, the seats have been mostly filled up. It was actually the second showing date, so that will explain the number of people. More people started filing in, and I noticed there was an available seat beside me. I looked over to Brandon's side to see if it was occupied, and it was by a bimbo trying to flirt with my man.

Wait, my man?

Brandon looked irritated as the bimbo kept pestering him by caressing his arm and murmuring into his air. Now, it was my cue to stop her.

"Yo!" I say half-whisper and half-yell. "You wouldn't want to lose an arm or two, don't you? I am pretty sure you would need it when you fill up another of your toys."

I kept on my serious glare on her even though I felt like bursting into hysteria in the inside. The girl looked quite scared and offended, and at least I knew she had the brains when she retreated from Brandon.

I resumed to my popcorn in a slightly pissed mood, but I quickly recovered since the popcorn calmed my nerves. I soon am no longer am pissed, and the past situation has now been forgotten.

My focus was now on the guy who was walking towards the area I am in. I looked around, and indeed was the seat beside me was the only one available. He soon reached the top and sat down beside me. He turned his head towards me, and I couldn't make out his appearance since he had sunglasses on.

Like, dude, take of your glasses. It is dark, and you think it’s still freaking bright? Something going cuckoo in this dude's head.

A cheshire grin appeared onto his face and it totally crept me out. I slowly faced forward and scooted more closer to Brandon. I could still feel the dude's gaze burning into my skull, and I had the urge to punch the guy to his opposite side so he would quit staring at me.
