CH 13: Begining of Endurance

(Miria Pov)

Miria flip a page of the book she has in her hand. Its day four in the ruins, being here has frustrated Miria for they have not found any information. There was a case here and there, but they all turn out to be dead ends.
Miria reads the next rank warrior on the list.

Her name was Rio of generation 65, rank 6 in the single digits. Her special swordmanship is the double edge sword. Practically its to move your sword swiftly in order to make a stong thirst on both sides into an X.

Reading all the logs about this Warrior impressed her, especially the successful group hunts she lead. Her story is almost similar to Miria's. When Miria read her about her death, something was not right. This warriors death was just brief. It said "Send her on a another group hunt to kill that undefeted abyssal one. The group was number 10, 13, 20, and 33. She did not last nor did her group, only number 33 escape. Once again the abyssal one went into hideing. End."

These bastards that write about the warriors that fought and died makes Miria's stomach turn. But it was strange that the organization call the abyssal one "undefeated". She remember reading something similar in other reports.
Then something occur to Miria. She rush over to the other side of the room where the books had been already read.

Galatea herd her rush, past her.
"Miria whats wrong?" She asked.

Miria did not answer. Ella, Emma and the others look at Miria with curiosity. Miria grabbed a couple of books and set them on the floor all turn to a spesific page. Miria look at them for a short while.
"20? Dami?...no thats not it....Ah!" Said Miria talking to herself.
Miria grabbed Volume 20, she search through the pages.

"I found it" said Miria.
"Found what Miria? Explain we can't read minds you know" said Galatea

"Damian Generation 20, rank 10, he turn into an Abyssal one, but there is no information what so ever about his execution" said Miria.
"So you think he is the Komodo king Dragon?" Asked Galatea.
"I am sure, but there is hardly any proof......?"
Miria got quiet.
"What? What is it Miria?"

Miria notice a symbol on this page. The symbol of a skull, almost yoma like. The symbol is used to mark those warriors that turn into an abyssal one.
"There is a symbol on this page" answered Miria "all the other pages have symblos but only on the ones that turn into an Abyssal one"

Then something els occur to Miria. This was no ordinay symbol, its a clue.
She remember seeing this symbol.
Miria walk over to the far wall of the stone room. There where rocks on that side, but does not cover the wall. Miria remove a large stone.
On that wall is the symbol of the skull. Miria pulls the stone brick with the symbol. It was a secret slot, and in it was a Black book with the same skull symbol on it. And under it a brown old box.

Miria took these items. The warriors in the room surround her.
Miria open the black book, it was old and its pages are torn from the edges. But the Condition of the text is good, which mean its been frequently used.
As Miria looked through the pages, what was in it astonish her. This book was full of records of Abyssals.
"Miria what did you find?" Asked Galatea getting impatient with Miria's silence.
"Galatea the serch is over we had found what we been looking for" said Miria.
"Well its about dame time" said Galatea in relief.

(Clare POV)

Clare walks down the stairs slowly. Its morning and the day started out with a pain. By pain, she did mean in a loos term, she mean it physically.
Since yesterdays incident, Clare been feeling pain shocking trough her body from the wounds. But now that she healed, she find it very strange that she still feels the same pain. Something is really wrong with her body and it worries her. She does not want her comrads to know about this.
