(Tessa POV)

Tessa peeks over the trap door from the ground. Her friend Jane holds the door to cover thier heads.
They are looking at Irene, who is just stareing at the horizon.

"Hey how is big sister Irene?" Whispered a voice.

Jane looks down at Madison who is on the stairs with them. Behind her Gina, Ethal, and Ray. All stand quietly along the stairs.

"She is just stareing" Whispered Jane back.

"At what?" Asked Ray in whisper.

"Just stareing into the distance thats all" Whispered Jane.

After Irene dismissed everyone early from practice. She stationed herself on the north tower. Irene has been acting strange since then. She has not been down for days. Only for some food and to makes sure the young girls are sleeping. But she always gose up the the tower and stares at the horizon.

This concern the young girls, and finally they decided to check up on her. Which brings them to where they are.

"Why is big sister Irene acting this way?" Question Gina.
"I get the feeling something happen, or something is strange and she can't seem to shake it off"

"Or maby there are yoma, or bandits lurking near by and she is on high alert" said Ray.

They all look as if her opinion doesn't make senses. Ray took notice of that.

"What? Have you ever seen a warrior on hight alert? I know I have with Undine" said Ray.

"If it was yoma or bandits they would already be dead by big sisters Quicksword" said Ethel.

"But still something is not right with big sister Irene" said Ray.

They all fell silent, trying to figure out what is wrong.

"You don't suppose something bad happened to them" said Jane.

"You saying our bigs sisters will never come home?" Questioned Gina.

Jane glance at Irene.
"Its possible"

They fell quiet again, thinking of that possibility. And even worse they probibly will not see thier guardians again. What will happen to them then?

Tessa lift the trap door, and steps out of it.

"Hey what are you doing Tessa?" Wisper Jane in a panick.

Tessa did not listed to Jane, she just walk up next to Irene. Irene did not look down, nor flinch. Tessa tug at the clok Irene was wearing. Irene responded and looks down at Tessa.

"Oh Tessa, what is it?" Said Irene.

Tessa gave Irene a concern look. She pointed at the direction where the town of Veritas will be. Then she return her concern look to Irene. Irene understood what she is trying to say.

"I don't know if they are almost home" Said Irene
"No.....truth is I don't know if they are coming home"

Irene's voice sounded as if she is sad.

Tessa stomp her foot. Which means "no" in her own language. She pointed at the horizon, then cross her arms like if she is huging something. And puts on a comfident face.

Irene was a little amazed by Tessas confidences.

"Tessa is right" said a voice.

Both turn to see Jane and the others.

"They will return, we are sure of it" said Jane.

Irene smiles, she admirers thier confidence. Suddenly she too feel confidence. A litte hope from the young ones is all she needs. Irene begins to wonder if this is how Teresa would feel with Clare.
