CH 16: Calamity

(Unit 1)

Jean and her unit wait in hideing behind some buildings. Half of her unit hide on the otherside of the street where the abyssal one is supposed to go trough.

Hearing loud movements, Jean peeks around the corner to see Helen and Deneve comeing toward them with an angry oversize lizard following them.

Helen and Deneve runs past them. In a slow motion Jean could see Helen saluting and wink at her, and her mouth movements saying 'all yours'.
Jean could not help but chuckle.

The moment the abyssal one is in parallel with the warriors in hideing. All of Jean's comrads in her unit jump into action.

The attack was so sudden, the Abyssal one did not see it comeing. The warriors attack the abyssal one with everything they got. Most succed in wounding it.

Meanwhile Jean prepares her secret weapon. Drill sword is what its called. Jean twists every muscle in her right arm.

"Four, five, six, seven..." she counts with every turn her muscles twist around her arm. Among all the warriors in her Clan, she has the strongest singal thrust attack. The last time she used this technique was against the Silver Eye Lion King. In Result missed her target and nearly got killed with an arm trough her stomach. She was so dame lucky she survived.

As she continues to count, she watchs the Abyssal ones movements as he fights her comrads.
During the fight she eyes her comrads that gets hurt. Everytime that happens she would worry, and anxiety would fill her mind. She becomes distracted in continuing to prepare her technique, she wants to help her comrads, but could not. If she does in means canceling her attack and exposeing the surprise attack, therefore ruining the plan.

Then suddenly a group of warriors join in the action. Jean recognize what unit they are in. Its from Unit 3 and 5, of whats left of them.

Jean could not be more happy to see Deneve, Helen, Ophelia and Veronica. They all got her back, even the snake b*tch.

"Fourteen, fifthteen...."continue Jean.

(Captains POV)

Deneve jumps from the ground and swing her sword down at the abyssal one's back. The abyssal blocks Deneve's attack with his tail, and hit Deneve down to the ground.

Helen runs toward the abyssal one, streach her arm with her sword. The abyssal one jumps, lifts his hands and streach his claws and aims at Helen, Ophelia, and Veronica.

Helen jumps out of the way, in time before impact. Veronica and Ophelia dodge the claws but made a U turn with thier swords, cutting off some fingers.

The abyss grunts at the pain.
Flora came from the blind side and use her wind cutting technique on the abyssal one's right arm. She was late in joining the party, after takeing time to heal. But better late than never.

Jean who still on the ground, finish prepareing her technique.
" twenty-one, maximum rotation" she said, as her eyes glow with the color of gold.

Veronica who was near by, notice Jean is ready. She signal the other captains.
Everyone prepares for what they are about to do next. They signal every warrior remaining to attack.

Everyone attack the abyssal one at the same time. Four different groups attack each of the abyssal one's limbs, therefore averting his focuse. He lift his tail in attempt to take them out at the same time, but something pulls his tail back. The abyssal one turns his head to see what is pinns him down; it was the large warrior.

"Oh no you don't"said Undine pulling on its tail.

Everything was set, the abyssal one has no room to defend its self.
