Chapter Two

[JIYONG's POV]

I felt good and light headed.

No more pain.

Am I dead?

I slowly opened my eyes.

Everything is so bright.

I look around to find a girl holding my hand.

My eyes widened.

She's the girl I'm crossing with!

I look closely to her face.

Memories rush out on my head.

We met an accident and I held her hand!

Are we dead?

What the heck happened?

I remember the flood of blood coming out from her head.

Now she looks serene and beautiful in her sleep.

My heart started to thump loudly when she slowly opened her eyes.

I didn't realize that my held on her hands got tighter.

She looks at me eyes and smiled.

My heart is going wild with what's happening.

She suddenly looks at me wonderingly and looks to our hands.

"It hurts." She mumbled.

I let her hand go immediately.

I felt myself blushing. Damn I felt like a boy caught masturbating.

I heard her chuckle.

"Where are we?" She asked with a creased brow.

I look around once again to see green trees and grasses.

I sat up. She also did the same.

I look at the sky.

Where are we?

"Even I don't know where we are." I mumbled back to her.

"You two are simply dead." A loud and gentle voice said to us.

I look around to find the culprit but there is no one there.

"W-who are you?" Dara asked.

"Where are we?" I also asked.

"This place is the boundary of Life and Death... From now on your souls are invited to the underworld." The loud booming voice explained to us.

"What? This is not a joke! I could not die in a place like this!" Dara shouted.

"Me too... I just got accepted in the art school!" I seconded.

"In that case... I will let only one of you to live." He said to us.

"Eh?" Dara stuttered.

I look at her and an unexplainable pain struck my heart.

"O-only one?" I asked no one.

"I will give you seven days to talk amongst yourselves on who shall live." He said in his gentle voice.

"Are you kidding us? Cut this out! Who are you?" Dara yelled once again.

I face palmed.

What the heck is happening?

"By that day you two... your entire life will be shared." The booming voice said once again.
