From a serious POV:
So, today I encountered the chimp again. I was engrossed in a book at the library, when I heard chuckling behind me. I turned & saw him sitting with his legs resting on the table , reading a joke-book. "Research", he uttered, when he noticed me staring at him. "Nice save!" I remarked sarcastically. "I'm Sam, btw." he introduced,softly. "I wasn't sure u'd recognize or even remember me! Gr8 job yesterday, Sam. U really made everyone laugh." I praised. "That was the intention!" he replied,boastfully. Smarty-pants! I thought to myself. My thoughts were interrupted by his loud voice. "Still waiting for that name!" he reminded. "Oh! I'm Erica King." I whispered. "Nice to meet u, Eric!" he greeted. "U probably misheard me. It's Erica." I corrected. "I heard u perfectly. I just think u look more like an Eric....'coz u're so boyish!" he insulted. I tossed a book at him & stormed out. Boys are so insensitive! I thought to myself, furiously.
From a fun POV:
So, I met Miss Stares-a-lot at the library today. She heard me chuckling & we immediately begin a staring contest! I lied to her that I was doing research! Then we introduced ourselves, she congratulated me, I boasted & I decided to lighten the mood by teasing her about her name (I'm a comedian, after all!). But, the lady obviously didn't have a funny-bone. She felt insulted,angrily tossed a book at me & stormed out! I picked the book up. I read its title, Jane Eyre. Jane Ire indeed! I thought to myself, jokingly. Girls are so sensitive! I thought to myself.
