From a serious POV:
I admired myself in the mirror as I prepared for my date. It's been 7 months since the divorce. Since then, I've got a job,rented an apartment & now, I'm dating an Austrian pianist whom I met at a concert. Johann & I hit it off instantly. I passed by the LOL Club & met Gio. No sign of Sam though. Gio said that he was out attending an AA meeting. Good for him! I thought to myself, gladly.
From a fun POV:
I'd lied to Gio that I was attending an AA meeting & deserted him to run the club on his own. Don't get me wrong, I've been sober for 7 months since the D-word. I just needed some time off. I went online & logged onto a dating site. Would I find a girl who loved pizza, comedy & lazing around as much as I did? I thought to myself. "Maybe not...but, it's worth a shot!" I muttered to myself, sipping my Kool-Aid & staring at my laptop screen. I wrote an honest description about myself, since I'd heard that chicks dig honesty! Alright, almost honest description!(I copied some info from Leonardo DiCaprio's Wiki page, hoping that I could pass off as a hot actor with gorgeous eyes & hair!;-D) Hopefully, some desperate chick'll fall for it! If it doesn't work, I can always use it in my act to gain a few laughs at the club! ;-D
