~Chapter Nineteen~ ~Rogue~
Blackstar looked around. The entire forest was on fire. His plan had succeeded, but not the way he wanted. He looked around. He saw no one. Just the burning trees. He was about to stop the fire when he suddenly got a chill go down his spine. He looked up and saw that it was snowing. Suddenly, a familiar white she-cat appeared. "Snow!" Blackstar called. Sge turned around to look at him.
The she-cat stared at Blackstar. She silently shook her head before dissapearing, leaving Blackstar alone in the snow. He looked up, a single tear rolling down his left cheek. ((IDC IF CATS CAN CRY OR NOT))
Blackstar was awoken by a nudge to his chest. He opened one eye and saw his deputy, Goldpaw. "Goldpaw, it's dawn. What are you waking me up for?" He asked, obviously annoyed for being awoken from his slumber. "You were screaming the word 'Snow' in your sleep..." Goldpaw mumbled. "Oh." Blackstar said, realizing Goldpaw was only worried about him.
Blackstar got up and the two left his den. "We're invading Forestclan tomorrow." He announced. Goldpaw looked at him in shock. "We don't have to do this, Blackpaw. We could run away and live as rogues! We could start a family." Goldpaw suggested.
Blackstar shook his head. "No." He said. I'm not going back to that life. He thought. "And my name is Blackstar!" He shouted.
Goldpaw looked at him hurt. He had never shouted at her before. She silently nodded and walked into the apprentices den. "Goldpaw, wait!" Blackstar yelled, but Goldpaw ignored her.
Blackatar walked back into his leader's den. It was small and lonely. Perhaps living as a rogue again wouldn't be so bad.
