Skeleton in the closet

The talking and flirting put a smile on my face.

I let you in and trusted your charade.

Into the dark alley, we walk by, hand in hand.

Not thinking that danger was on the other side.

Evil and lust mirrored in your eyes.

The smirk plastered on your face sent shivers to my skin.

I never see this side of you before now.

Fear coiled my chest and I forgot how to breathe.

The clawing and hush tones was all I remembered.

Your smell makes my head spinning.

Fury and hatred started to kick in.

Tears betray my façade and you just burst out laughing.

I begged you to let me go.

But you hear nothing and kissed my swollen lips.

I tried to free myself and push you hard as I could ever muster.

I ran across the streets and cries for some help.

One man saw me and asks what the hell happened.

I shake my head not trusting my own self.

I bawled for hours, then he sends me home.

The stranger who saves me from destruction was like an angel.

I owe him my life for that motherfucker.
