Art of letting go!

Love was like a lightning.

Struck me without any warning.

It felt so bizarre.

And brought me out of my mind.

Sleepless nights had never been a problem.

Talking to you was all that matters.

I couldn't care less with everything else around me.

Because it was only you I could ever see

We were so happy together.

And made me smile every day.

Our memories would remain unchanged.

Even though the song we sing now had a different tune with each other.

I said I love you and you said I love you back.

I wondered what happened to that.

I would never have any answers, from you.

But God will lead me in the right way, I just know.

To let go was to accept that awful fact.

You already shut down your door and had no plans to come back.

I was left bleeding and alone in the dark.

Trying helplessly to grasp on that little light.

Those sunny days had gone before my very eyes.

And left me nothing but mere shadows of that wonderful past.

I could never bring back the good 'ole days.

But I thank you for those beautiful memories you had left with me behind.
