Chapter 5

Disarray's POV:

We walked into the store & grabbed a shopping car. "What all does she need & want?" Jeremiah asked me. "Uhmm. I don't know. Let me text her." I told him.

Me : 

What do you need from the store?

I put my phone away & started walking next to Jeremiah. We drifted over to the clothes section somehow. I stared in surprise. Jeremiah shrugged & said "Might as well waste sometime looking for stuff." I laughed. I found something that wasn't supposed to be in the clothes section & smiled. I pulled out my phone, turned the flashlight on it & walked ninja like up to Jeremiah. "Excuse me sir," I said putting on a fake voice & shining the light in his face with the video on while pointing the toy microphone I had just found at him. "How does it feel to be coming up on your senior year?" I questioned him. "Well, you see, it's pretty cool. I now get to chase those blasted freshmen instead of being chased by the seniors." He grinned. "Though, might I point out that it sucks bc this isn't my last year of school that's coming up soon unfortunately. I get to get out of that wretched high school only to be thrown into a more bigger, harder school & this time I'm supposed to work, school & have a social life WITH enough sleep." He told me with a straight face playing along. All of a sudden I got a text.

Ezekiel/Sister :

The usual. 

I nodded & turned back to Jeremiah. "Well, seems as if that's all the time we have left for today. Any advice for the viewers?" I asked him. "Stay in school. Don't be silly. Wrap your willy. & Don't do drugs kids." I laughed. "OHMYGOD THAT WAS PRICELESS." I told him once I ended the video. "I know. I know. Such wow. Much fun." I laughed harder when he started walking again when all of a sudden BAM. I fell down & Jeremiah dropped to my side "Shit. Awry. Are you okay?" He frantically asked while I touched my forehead. "Yeah. I'm okay." I said getting up with the help of Jeremiah. I started pushing the cart then stopped all of a sudden. I turned around & tried to pick Jeremiah up. I couldn't budge him. "Too fat." He told me. "No you're not! You're just being dead weight right now. Besides, that's muscle. Not fat." I told him sternly. Then continued on to say, "Now get in the cart." He got in. "Thank you." I told him & started pushing him. He laughed & got on his phone. "Is that Porn Hub you're on!?" I asked him loudly. "WHAT NO. IT'S NOT. SEE." He yelled out quickly flipping to a different app & showing me. "Dude. I know that was Tumblr. & You just switched to Instagram. You basic white girl." I told him laughing. "Besides, I know you don't have Porn Hub on there. I see your phone like, every time we have a sleep over." I giggled. He scowled at me. "Want to know what we should do tonight?" He asked. "Huh?" I asked as I checked my phone.

Nicole : 

Plans canceled. Sorry.

Me : 

It's okay. Don't worry. 

"We should have a sleep over tonight. My house. What do you say? We haven't had one in FOREVER." I laughed. "Actually my plans just opened up. I'm taking you on your offer. & We just had a sleep over not too long ago." I stated. "Yeah but that was last week!! & You know mom & dad adore you!" He told me shaking my arm in a childish way. I looked at him & pretended to brush my hair off my shoulder. "I know mom & dad adore me. I am their favorite after all." I teased him. He gasped feigning hurt. "THEY'RE MY MOMMY & DADDY NOT YOURS" He benignly yelled at me. "If you say so." I smirked. I looked in the cart. Somehow I'd already piled the cart half full while Jeremiah & I were talking. I walked over to the junk food section & got our favorites. I grabbed some hot cocoa mix too & monsters. Just as I was about to leave I saw a box of assorted baby food. Jeremiah was playing on his phone I again. I smirked & put the box under the cart. After that we headed for the checkout line. We both piled everything on the check out section & I pushed Jeremiah forward. We stopped at the register while I put everything in the cart again & he paid for the food with my money. We had an organized system & I liked it. I would put things in the cart & push him around while he sat in the cart, hanging out & talking with me then at the end he would take care of dealing with the cashier. I smiled at him as we walked out the door. "Thanks." He shrugged. "No problem." Once we put the things in the car we drove back to Ezekiel's. We stopped at a stoplight & I turned to look out the window. "Hmph." I said. "What?" Jeremiah asked. "Mother is out waiting for drugs or to become lady of the night for drugs." I told him pulling out my cell. "So you're gonna call the cops?" He asked a little surprised. "Fuck yeah." I told him. We pulled into Ezekiel's drive way just as I got off the phone. "She's taken care of." I said as we carried in Ezekiel's bags of food & put them up. Once we were done I made her some tea & put on Animal Planet for after I layed her down & tucked her like a burrito. "You're sure you'll be okay?" I asked her. "Yeah. I'll be okay." She told me. I nodded. "Text or call if you need me. I love you." I told her. She looked at me & replied, "I will. I love you too." I smiled & got in my car. I turned to Jeremiah who was sitting in the driver's seat. "Ready boii?" I asked him. He shook his head laughing & drove to his house.
