Chapter 14 - Plan Is In Effect

After I had the butler find a table, 2 chairs, a table cloth, and lights, Harry & I went out to put it all up. It was 7:15, and we only had 15 minutes to do so. I started wrapping the lights from palm tree to palm tree, while he set up the heavy stuff. It was 7:26, by the time we were done.

“HARRY! You need to leave! Kae will be here any second!” I said, pushing him towards the house.

“I’m leaving, I’m leaving. Gosh!” He said, laughing. He quickly turned, and kissed my cheek.

“Seriously, Haz! You need to leave!” I said, giggling.

“I’ll see you soon!” He said, walking up the beach. I quickly walked to my seat, which was facing the house, and sat down. I only had to wait at most 2 minutes for Kae to come. She looked absolutely STUNNING. 

“Dannnnnng Kae! Someone’s a stunnah!” I said, laughing.

“I’m the stunnah? Look at yo self!” She said, motioning to my outfit. I had to make this whole dinner believable, so I dressed in a tannish/whitish sleeveless crop top that was right on my stomach,  a yellow & pink dip dye ombre chiffon ruffle skirt, and a pair of nude sandals. I put in gold colored pearl earrings, and clasped on a gold linked hearts necklace. I had fishtailed a braid to the side of my face, and had light makeup on.

“Nah, you look better!” 

“Whatever. Soooo, where’s my grape soda?” She asked, looking around. 

“It should be here relatively soon!” Just as I finished that sentence, a woman, who looked in her 30’s, along with 2 other people, came walking out of the mansion.

“Hello, ladies!” The woman said. “I’m Mrs. King, the chef for this household. Tonight, your meal is spaghetti and garlic bread, along with grape soda!” 

“AH! Yes! My favorite meal!” Kae said while jumping in her seat.

“You start eating  Kae. I have to use the bathroom!” I said, getting up. I quickly walked through the sand, up to the door. There stood Liam, along with Harry. In Liam’s hands were a bouquet of roses, and he patted his pocket, which probably held the promise ring. “Your time to shine, kid!” I said, giving him a good luck hug.

“Thank you for this, Sam. Seriously, I don’t know what I’d do without you!” With that, he quietly opened the door, and stepped out. Mrs. King, and the 2 other people walked in.

“Thank you, Mrs. King!” I said, giving her a quick hug. 

“No problem, dear!” She said, walking into the kitchen.

**Liam’s P.O.V.**

I started walking down the steps onto the warm sand. Breathe, Liam, breathe. You can do this! I whispered to myself as I neared the table. I stopped a good 7 feet from her chair, which wasn’t facing me. I cleared my throat, hoping she would look back. I put my hands behind my back, hiding the flowers. She turned around, and her face dropped. She looked so sad, seeing me. I forced myself not to cry.

“What do you want?” She said, looking me dead in the eye. 

“I came to apologize. You deserve to know the whole story about what happened the other night. But, I’ll tell you that after I make everything right again” I pulled the flowers from behind my back, and looked down. I looked back up, and I swear there were tears in her eyes. Get got up from her chair, and walked to me. I reached the roses out, and she slowly grabbed them.

“These are my favorites..” She whispered. That was when I pulled out the box for the ring. I opened it, and walked closer to her.

“Kae, this ring is a promise ring. I promise that nothing happened with Ashley, and that nothing will happen with anyone but you.” Kae slightly smiled, and nodded. I took the ring out of the box and placed it on her ring finger. “Do you believe me?” I asked, my hand still holding hers.

“Yes, yes I do believe you. I’m sorry, Liam..” She said placing the roses down on the table, and hugging me. My stomach had little manly butterflies flying around. If I’m not mistaken, we stood there for a good 10 minutes. 

“Will you be my girlfriend again?” I asked her, half pulling away from the hug. 

“Of course!” She said, smiling even bigger. I bent down, and gave her a kiss.

**My P.O.V.**

“HARRY! THEY’RE KISSING! GET OVER HERE!” I yelled from the back door. Harry came running into the kitchen, to the door, and peeped out.

“YES! Our plan worked!” He said giving me a high five. “But what are we gonna do for dinner now? That smelled good..” He said, looking disappointed. 

“My mom made dinner for the whole family, and they had it when we were down stairs.. I think they had homemade pizza? And I’m 99% sure they have leftovers.” I walked back into the kitchen and opened up the fridge. Sure enough, there was half a pizza sitting in a bag. “I was right, wanna heat some up?” I asked looking over at him.

“Sure, babe!” He said, sitting on the island.

I pulled the bag out, and set the oven to 350. I put the pizza on a pan, and set it on the stove, waiting for the preheat to be done. I walked over to where Harry was sitting, and sat next to him. “Maybe we can actually go on a double date, for real, this time.” I said, swinging my feet.

“Hopefully, I would really like that!” He said, mimicking my swinging feet.
