Chapter 11 - Nothing But Drama

While sitting around the fire, after Harry & I’s talk, I was thinking. I was kinda scared for Liam. There was something no one knew but me about Kae. It was no doubt that she was a flirter, but it was no doubt that she goes through guys faster than a cheetah in Africa. It’s crazy. I have never liked her “boyfriends”, but I think Liam is good for her. I actually like him, & I’m afraid that she will hurt him. My thoughts were interrupted by Kae, who was laughing. She was snuggled into Liam, his arms wrapped around her torso. His cheek gently rested on top of her head. It was one of the cutest moments ever. They both looked SO happy together, it made me smile. That was, until I saw Ashley. Her eyes were fixed on Liam, & they were like daggers. It didn’t seem good, it looked like she was up to something. Liam OR Kae didn’t seem to notice.

“Hey, Niall. Can I use the bathroom?” Kae asked, getting up and stretching.

“Yeh, if you go through the kitchen, you’ll find a staircase. Go up the staircase, and take a right, then a left. You’ll end up in a game room, where a bathroom is!” Niall said, strumming his guitar.

“Okie doke!” Kae said, getting up.

“AYO KAE! I’m gonna go with you!” I said, prying Harry’s arms off of me. I got up, and linked arms with my bff. We walked up the sand, to the house. We followed Niall’s instructions, and got to the game room.

“I’m gonna pee my pants if I don’t go right now!” Kae yelled, running into the bathroom & shutting the door. I looked around the room, seeing all of the games in there. Pool table, air hockey table, a flat screen TV, a couch, a bathroom, a mini fridge, a closet that was open, filled with board games. It was crazy. I then noticed a window. I walked over to it, and I saw a view straight to the fire. I watched them interact, when something caught my eye. I looked closer, and saw that she was sitting by him, and was ODDLY close to him. I couldn’t tell Liam’s reaction to it all, so I didn’t know if he liked it. I looked over at Harry, and he was texting, not even paying attention. I looked back at Ashley, and she had her hand on Liam’s knee. My mouth flew open.

“Whatcha lookin’ at?!” Kae said, making me jump.

“Ummmm, nothing. Nothing at all.” I said, and ran to the bathroom. I slammed the door, and sighed. I did my business, checked my makeup and hair, then opened the door. Kae was no where to be found. “KAE?!” I yelled, & of course, no answer. I walked over to the window, and saw Kae. She looked like she was yelling… At Liam?

I ran downstairs, and flew out the back door. I started to jog to the scene of the drama. “KAE?” I yelled again, but she didn’t stop screaming. All of the sudden, she stopped. And she started walking away. She turned back one more time, you could see the tears streaming down her face.

“Liam, don’t come after me. We’re done; through.” She said, and she started walking away.

“WHAT HAPPENED?!” I yelled to Liam, who was standing there, completely baffled. After about 30 seconds, I yelled again. “WELL! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!”No one answered. “Thanks, guys.” I said, then starting to walk off, after Kae. I jogged up to her, and she was bawling her eyes out.

“LIAM! I told you not to follow me, get out of here!” She said, trying to make her voice not crack.

“Baby girl, it’s not Liam. It’s Sham. Hey, let’s get you home, and we’ll talk about it.” I wrapped my hands around her, and we walked like that. We arrived a few minutes later back at the house. We grabbed our shoes, and the food, and headed inside. I put the food away, and we traveled up the stairs. We got to our room, and she ran to her bed. She jumped on it, and started crying even harder. “Now, tell me what happened.” I said, rubbing her back.

“I.. looked.. out the win…dow, and saw Liam.. and he was.. cudd..ling with.. Ashley.. and..” She was stuttering, from all of the crying. She was out of breath.

“Shhhh, calm down. Regain your breath, then finish.” She started to breath better, and by no time, she was talking normal.

“I went down, and quietly crept down to the fire, and she was like, all up on him. But, he wasn’t pushing her off. He was even smiling. So, I got up, and he saw me, and pushed her off. And I went off, and he didn’t even say anything. Ashley.. She was smiling the whole freaking time!” Kae said, looking down.

“Well, that is bogus. As allllllll get out. Well, just go to sleep, we can settle it in the morning. Love you, Kaeleigh!” I said, and she laid down.

“Love you. Thanks for everything!” She said, closing her eyes. She was out in less than a minute. I slowly crept out of the room, and went down stairs. I sat down on the couch, and texted Harry.

“Hey, Kae’s asleep. You 2 can come home if ya want.”

I put down my phone, and turned on the TV. Less than 10 minutes later, in came in Harry & Liam. They walked into the living room, and I turned off the TV.

“Can you guys, PLEASE, tell me what happened?” I asked, as the boys sat down.

“We were sitting there, right after you guys left. Harry and I were talking, about how beautiful you guys were. I’m not kidding on that one, either. Anyways, right after you guys closed the door, Ashley came over & sat by me. She started talking, scooting closer with each word. By the time I knew what was going on, she was feeling me up & down my leg. It was quite uncomfortable. But, I didn’t want to be rude, even Harry knows I cannot do that. & Then she laid her head on my shoulder. I said, “Can you please get off?” But she didn’t move. & That was when Harry made a remark about how she only wants attention, because she never got any before. I smiled, but didn’t want to laugh and be mean. & Then Kae came up, and she saw us, and I pushed Ashley off, not caring about what she felt. And then you saw the rest.”

“What surprises me, is that Bruce OR Liz, never said a word about it.” Harry added in.

“Please believe me, I’m telling the truth. I really, REALLY like Kae. I would never do that to anyone, ESPECIALLY her.” Liam said, tears on the brink of his eye.

I sighed, and said, “I believe you. What I don’t know is if Kae will.
