Star Wars: Her New Beginning

Chapter 9

When I get home I don't believe what I see.

I see the table set up how I made it yesterday night and I smell something amazing. Meatloaf with green beans.

"What's this?" I ask a bit confused.

"Your mom and I felt a bit guilty about last night." Dad says

"We wanted to make it up to you, so we redid it, but made meatloaf instead." Mom says

Oh my gosh. I can't believe they did this. I'm so happy.

"Thank you. I love it!" I say thankfully.

I hug both my mom and dad.

We all sit down and start eating and talking.

After about an hour and a half of talking, I get to a point where I can't keep my eyes open.

I thank my parents for doing this, and I go to bed.

When I wake up, I get dressed and head to the Jedi Temple. When I get there, I meet up with Ander.

We go to find out if Dalton sent that information to his dad, Lord Minevilence. We search to find what information has been sent.

"He must have deleted the sent history for this information." I say not being able to find anything. "Did you find anything?"

"No, I haven't." Ander says a little frustrated.

We sit there trying to figure this thing out. A few minutes later Master Plo Koon comes running in the room.

"Master?" I question

Both Ander and I stand up.

"What happened?" Ander asks

"Lord Minevilence, he attacked one of our bases on Kashyyyk." Plo Koon says.

"Dang it." I say under my breath, dropping my head.

"I guess that answers our question." Ander says turning to me.

I just realize something.

"Wait a minute...Ashoka and Analeia are on Kashyyyk." I say with worry "Are they okay?"

Plo Koon doesn't say anything. There's just silence.

"Are they okay?!" I ask raising my voice.

He doesn't say anything.

"Answer me!" I say practically yelling.

Ander jumps a little at my raised voice. I don't raise my voice often, and Ander hasn't seen it a lot.

"He sent a transmission with Ashoka and Analeia in it." Plo Koon says and stops talking.

"And..." I say trying to move things along.

"And, he said that he wants revenge on you, Anika. For one, stabbing the back of his knee. And two, for killing his son." He says

"He's not the only one who wants revenge." I hear Ander say under his breath.

We finish up hearing what Master Plo Koon has to say, and we leave.

"So you, Obi-Wan, my dad, and I are going to Kashyyyk. In three days. Interesting." I say

Ander and I are just walking around the Temple, like we normally do.

"What did you mean when you said 'he's not he only one who wants revenge'?" I ask

Ander lets out a breath. I'm guessing he was hoping I didn't hear that.

"Lord Minevilence put you in a coma for about a month." Ander says with a bit of anger in his tone. "Then you were paralyzed from the waist down for over a year."

"Okay, I see why you would want to get revenge." I say "But don't make it your main goal. I get you were scared Ander. It's like Yoda said 'Fear is the path of the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

"He said that a while back. I can't believe you remember that." He says calming down.

"I think of it when ever I'm scared. To remind myself that I am strong." I say

"Your right. I shouldn't be so angry that I loose my way and go to the Dark Side. I'll try not to let it consume me." He says

"Thank you." I say

With that he wraps his arms around me and I do the same to him.

I feel safe when I'm in his arms.

Hey y'all hope you enjoyed the chapter! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while I have just had some writers block. Yes, Analeia is, again, captured. I will try to explain that in the next chapter or so. Tell me what y'all think.
