It's the day of our wedding. Right now I'm getting ready in one of the smaller rooms with my bridesmaids. I have Candra, Leia, Mara Jade, and Emily as my bridesmaids. Emily is one of my close friends. When we were younger Candra, Emily, and I would be together when ever we could. Now Emily is a Senator for Coruscant.
Candra is doing my hair, while Emily is doing my makeup. When Candra finishes, I have a nice, curly haired bun, with my bangs hanging loose. When Emily finishes I have a gold, smokey eye.
It's now time to put on the dress. I reveal the dress to the girls and they are all excited. Leia helps me get in the dress. I put on the gold, blingy, flat sandals. Once I'm done, Leia attaches a veil to my bun. It's a veil that is just for decoration and not one the goes over the head. It's simple, but around the bottom and edges, it has some small rhinestones.
Once I'm done, dad comes in.
"You look so beautiful, Anika." Dad says
"Thank you daddy." I say
"Now it's time for the first reveal." Dad says
I take his arm and he leads me to where Ander is. We decided that before the ceremony, we would meet.
Once I get to the room that we are doing this in, dad opens the door and let's me go in. He stays outside. Ander is facing the wall, waiting to face me.
"Hi." I say kindly
He turns around and he just looks at me.
"Anika, there are not enough words to describe how beautiful you look." He says
I smile.
"Ander, you look so handsome." I say "I'm so glad I get to marry you."
We spend a few minutes talking. Dad comes in and tells us that we have to start the ceremony soon. We leave and dad takes me back to where my bridesmaids are.
We start to file out and head to where we meet the groomsmen.
I'm very nervous about this, but very excited at the same time.
I hear the music start and the doors open. The bridesmaids and the groomsmen walk down. The doors close once the last bridesmaid and groomsman go down. The doors then open and dad walks me down the isle.
I have my eyes focused on Ander the whole time. I can't help but look at him. Once I get in front of him, the time goes by so fast. We get to the vows.
"Anika, from the first time I laid eyes on you, I loved you. For some reason you decided to go out with me. I know I don't deserve you. You are much better than what I deserve. You are my world, and I will do anything to keep you happy, and keep you with me." Ander says "I love you so much. And with this ring, I thee wed."
He puts a white gold, twisted ring on front of my engagement ring. It has eight diamonds on each side getting smaller and smaller from the outside in.
"Ander, from our first date I knew I loved you. I couldn't believe someone like you actually liked me. I never thought I was good enough for someone. But you make me feel like I am good enough." I say "I love you so much, Ander. And with this ring, I thee wed."
I put a white gold, simple, plain ring on his left ring finger.
"I now pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Ander Knight. You may kiss your bride." Mace Windu says.
We asked if he would marry us. Thankfully he agreed.
Ander and I kiss and we are now husband and wife.
We practically run down the isle.
After taking some wedding photos we head to the reception. The reception goes by pretty fast.
"Will you do me the honors of doing a father daughter dance?" Dad asks walking up to me.
"Yes, of course." I say
We go onto the dance floor and the song plays that I wanted to do this dance to. The song is Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman.
"I'm going to miss you, Anika." Dad says
"I'm going to miss you to. I'll be back though." I say
We continue to talk and dance through the song. Once the song is done we walk back over to Ander.
The rest of the reception goes by quickly. I go one way and Ander goes another. We go and change into more comfortable clothes. Once we change and go back into the reception room and announce that we will be leaving.
We leave the reception, get onto out ship, and head to Naboo for our honeymoon.
