Star Wars: Her New Beginning

Chapter 4

Ander and I are at the Temple in a conference room trying to figure out who could be posing as a clone.

We could go around pulling everyone's helmet off, but we don't want everyone to know what we are doing. Only the Jedi know that this is happening. No one else who works in the Temple knows.

"Okay, let's think. Is there anyone who has been acting weird recently?" Ander asks

We think for a little bit. Something comes to me.

"Oh no." I say putting my head in my hands.

My elbows were already one the table so I'm now just staring down at the table.

"What?" Ander asks

"There is one person who comes to mind. He has been acting weird recently. Ever since his date with Candra." I say "He is constantly looking around as if someone is watching him."

"Mason." Ander says

I nod my head.

"If it is Mason than Candra isn't going to be happy." I say "I can't do that to my best friend."

"This will be interesting." Ander says.

We just stare at each other with the same look that reads, what do we do?

"We'll figure this out in the morning." I say yawning.

"Yeah, let's just do that." Ander says

We leave the conference room and head to the landing platform. I get in my starfighter and head home.

When I get home, I get in bed after changing into a black tank top and black pj pants.

Once my head hits the pillow, I'm out.

I wake up to my alarm clock.

No! I just fell asleep! Dang it.

I get out of bed and grab the crutches. I go to the bathroom and brush my hair. My hair has grown out to about two inches below my shoulders. My hair is starting to gain it's wavy-ness again. I put my hair in a ponytail and finish in the bathroom.

I get dressed. I wear my usual: a navy blue, sleeveless, skater dress, black leggings, black, leather boots, navy blue, fingerless gloves that go to my mid forearm, and the necklace Ander gave me. It's a sterling silver infinity symbol attached to a long thicker black string. On the infinity symbol is AS engraved in the lower left and AK engraved in the upper right.

After breakfast I head to the Jedi Temple.

Now that Luke and Leia are married, I'm the only one of the three of us who is still living at home. I don't have a problem with that.

I keep going over on how am I going tell Candra that her boyfriend may be the one who is posing as a clone.

I meet Ander right outside the room we were in last night.

"How do we do this?" I ask

"I don't know." Ander says "This is going to be difficult."

We just stand there thinking of what to do for a little bit.

"I think I might have an idea. Follow me." I say

I try to take longer strides with the crutches so Ander can walk at his normal pace. I just don't want to make too big of a stride and I fall.

"This most likely isn't the most advised way to do this but we need to know." I say

"Anika...how are we doing this?" Ander asks

"You'll see." I say

We turn a corner and I see Candra and Mason. We walk up to them.

I'm a little nervous on how this will go.
