Chapter 2 Laying awake

castle-it was almost 1:am,but I still couldn't sleep. "Maybe if I take some medicine." He walked over to the bathroom cabinet and pulled out a bottle filled with pink pills. "I guess Benadryl will have to do." He took 5 of the pills and tried to lay down, but his mind had other ideas. "Why won't she come back, what did I do? I know I went missing for 2 months. But I haven't changed,we'll have I?" He was thinking out loud, but he tried to keep his voice down so he wouldn't wake Alexis or gram. "Maybe if I read a little my brain will calm down." He went over to the book case and picked up Storm Fall. Then he remembered when he was reading to that group so many years ago~ castle- good she thought, as the wind gathered her hair. No one will see my.... He took a pause to look up and see none other than detective Kate Beckett in a hot pink dress, her hair was still short and red at the time. He continued because he knew people were staring. .........tears. The book was ended. And every one started to clap. Moments later he caught up with Beckett. Detective Beckett, what a surprise, funny seeing you here. She started to talk. K-that was a moving reading, Good she thought, as the wind gathered her hair! No one will see my tears! There augment went on just a few more minutes.~he woke up from his day dream realizing it was almost 4:am. He tried to lay down and sleep, but his mind was still so much awake. He laid in the bed for about 10 more minutes then got back up. " I guess I'll go take a walk." He grabbed his coat and headed out the door. About 30 minutes through his walk it started to rain. The cold tears from the sky covered him. The rain came down harder and harder, until finally he could not take it anymore. He reached for his phone and before he knew it he was calling her. At the third ring he hung up an tried again. "I guess she has blocked my number." He finally tried one more time with high hopes, but all he heard was. "Hello this is captain Becketts phone, please call back at a later time." He was so in rage that he trough his phone straight trough a window. The alarm started to sound and he felt a panic run down his spine. He ran, faster and faster every minute. About after an hour of running he stopped. It was almost 6am now and the sun was starting to rise. He was to out of breath to run any more or walk for that matter. So he hailed a cab and headed back to the loft. "Will I ever sleep again?" He thought as he stepped out of the car when he returned home. He stepped inside and went into his bedroom. " it's better that Alexis and mom don't find out about this." " it would bring up to many questions, and honestly, I can't answer some of them myself. He finally closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep
