James's POV
We walk into studio A for a new day of rehearsals. I wonder what competitive we will be facing next.
"OK everyone I've got some news so if you could all settle down!" Miss Kate shouts. I think it's what competition we will be doing but whatever it is I know that it will be great because Riley and I will get our duet down pat.
"OK so we are going to have auditions today but only some of you will be able to actually audition," she says.
"But why?" Eldon asks, confused.
"Some of you are getting too old for this dance troupe and will need to move to another dance troupe where older dancers are."
"So who's moving?" Riley asks.
"Well, I've got a list here and the people moving studios are:Max, James, Eldon, Giselle and Amanda." I can't believe it. I don't want to move studios. I want to stay here with my boys and Riley.
"Well where would we move to?" I ask.
"I've got a list of nearby dance studios that you could move to on this piece of paper," Miss Kate replies, handing everyone who's leaving a piece of paper with different dance studios on it,"And the people leaving get to choose who's staying in so you'll have to vote when we see everyone audition."
Riley's POV
We all stand around the sides of studio A, waiting for Miss Kate and Phoebe to come in.
"Can you not vote for me, I don't want to be in this dance troupe without you," I say to James.He looks at me with his arm around my shoulder.
"If you don't get in then you still won't be able to go to the same studio as me," he says,"You'll only be old enough in a year's time."
"But will I see you?"
"Of course I'm only g..."
"Alright everyone I hope we're all warmed up cos we have auditions now!" Miss Kate shouts as she walks into the room with a clipboard.
James's POV
I watch everyone dance and they're all amazing. I think all the current A-troupers will stay in. There are B-troupers, J-troupers, dancers from different studios and dancers that are looking for their first dance studio. The people who get in are:Riley, West, Cierra, Michelle, Stephanie, Thalia, Noah, Abi, Richelle, Skylar, Josh and a new girl called Mia.
"Well done," I say to Riley.
"I am never going to be able to get used to this being A-troupe," she replies.
"It's fine, don't even worry about it!"
