Chapter 26-Thalia

Riley's POV

"Riley," I hear Thalia whisper through the door.

"Thalia! Where have you been?" I ask.

"Ssshhh, keep your voice down, Mia might still be here."
"I hope not, she boils my blood. Anyway have you got a way out of here?"
"Well there's a key here and..."
"Just try it." Soon the door is open,"Thanks Thalia."

"Let me just check if Mia is still here." She gets out her phone.
"What are you doing?"
"Phone tracker. Nope. She's gone we're cool."

"To do what?"
"Be normal basically. You know today Eldon and James were meant to be let out of prison but they won't because they're dead."

"Do you think James actually committed suicide or did Mia kill him like she did with Eldon."

"Don't know but it is possible both ways."

James's POV

I've finally been let out of prison and I can go home although I'm not too excited as Riley won't be there. She's dead. I pull up on our drive and knock on the door, just to check if anyone's in. I hear footsteps coming from the living room. Is it a...burglar? The door opens and I can't believe you it is. Riley. 
"Riley you're alive!" I shout, picking her up and spinning her around,"I thought you were dead."
"I thought you were dead."

"Well the police station told me that you were dead so that means that you're officially dead."

"What? But I'm not."
"You have a death certificate and everything."  She falls silent and steps back.
"No no no, Riley, it's OK we can go and show them that you're alive."

"Well there's no point in doing that," Thalia says, coming out the living room.
"Thalia?" Riley asks, confused.

"You don't know what's coming do you?"

"What is Thalia? What has happened to you?"

"I know exactly what Mia's plans are."

"So you betrayed us?"

"Guess you could say that."

"Why?"
"Bribery. I got bribed by Mia."

"Thalia tell me what is going on now!"

"Fine I'll give you a hint. Two words. Good luck."
