Chapter 9-Prison

Emily's POV

I wake up, pull on my dressing gown and go downstairs for breakfast. Mum has been up in her room for two whole days and I feel lonely. I go into the kitchen and pour some cereal into a bowl. I sit down at the table and start eating it when I hear the door open. I look over and it's Mum. I can't believe that she's finally going to live in the rest of the house. Her hair is in a bun, falling sideways and really loose. It looks like she's just woken up from and one hundred year sleep.

"What?!" she yells. I just look down at my cereal and carry on eating it,"Answer my question!"

"I-I-I think...I just haven't seen you in a w-while," I tremble. Her face builds up with anger and it looks like she's about to explode.

"So?!"

"I was lonely."
"You were lonely?! How old are you?"

"Nineteen."

"That was a rhetorical question."

"Sorry."
"I'm sick of you! Your father was right! I should have never had kids so just shoo and live in your own house!"
"But..."
"GO!" She points her finger to the door as I race upstairs. I quickly shove some random clothes into my suitcase, picked it up and I ran straight out the door. It's freezing outside and I'm only in my pyjamas. I walk down the road. I don't even know where I'm going. Somewhere.

Riley's POV

"I'm sooooooo hungry," I moan.
"We'll go out to the shops in a minute," James says back. I then hear my phone go off.
"At this time? Must be urgent," he says. I answer it and put it on speaker.

Me-Em are you OK?

Emily-I don't even know anymore
Me-Why what happened?!
Emily-Mum ordered me out the house in the middle of breakfast. I don't live there anymore and I don't know where to go
Me-I'm sorry, you're too far away for me to see you
Emily-I'm just in the middle of the street in my pyjamas and I'm freezing cold.
Me-Why don't you call...Miss Kate, she lives nearby.
Emily-OK, I'll see if I can get a flight to Brazil thanks bye

"I feel so sorry for her," James says.
"I wish she could be here or I be there."

"We'll go to the shops to get food and we can buy something for Emily too."
"Sounds good." We go outside and get into the car.

Miss Kate's POV

I get a phone call from Emily and I can't believe that her mum kicked her out of the house! I've called the police and I'm now sitting at the table with Emily.
"I'm going to get dresses," she says and then wonders off upstairs, taking her suitcase along with her.

Sally's(Riley and Emily's Mum) POV

I sit at the table, drinking a cup of coffee. I'm glad Emily's gone. I wish no one stood up for Riley. Eighteen and pregnant! I then hear a knock on the door. I go up to it and answer it. I then see a policeman and a policewoman standing at the door.

"You're under arrest," he says.
"I'm sorry?" I say.
"You have been mentally and physically harmful to your children which counts and kicking your nineteen year old daughter out the house and forcing her to find a place her own without a job." The woman smashes my hands together and puts hand cuffs around my wrists. I try and run back into the house but they chuck me into the police car and I get driven off. Riley and Emily are going to pay.
