Chapter 4-Brazil?!

Riley's POV

I follow Miss Kate into her office with Mia and I can see she's up to something. I sit down in the chair opposite Miss Kate as Mia stands next to the table, forming fake tears in her eye.

"Explain yourself," Miss Kate says to me. I'm really confused.
"About what?" I ask.

"Well, what happened in the music room, listen to this." Mia's phone is on Miss Kate table and Mia presses play.
"You can't dance" it says, it's my voice.
"Miss Kate that wasn't the whole sentence," I protest.
"It's where the recording stops."
"I said that she couldn't dance in denim shorts and killer heels, she just edited it, anyway, why would she record it, oh yeah to get me into trouble."
"Riley, you can't be mean to the new girl, I have to trust her."

"I've been at this studio for ages and have I ever lied to you?"
"Look girls, this will be forgotten about, now go back to rehears your duet."

James's POV

I'm searching the studios that Miss Kate gave me on the piece of paper online and they're all full.

"Look, it's just cos it's the time of year when everyone moves studios it'll be fine," Mum says,"Oh, there's one here and it's the closest one not full."

"Mum, that's in Brazil."

"It's still the closest one!"

"But I don't want to leave all my friends."
"I heard from Eldon's mum that he's going to the one in Brazil."

"I have more friends than that."

"Come on, moving to Brazil will be fun we could be neighbors with Eldon and his family."

"I'll think about."
"OK sweetie I'll just leave you here to think about it then." She leaves and I lean back in my chair. How am I supposed to make this decision?

Riley's POV

"5, 6, 7, 8 and one two..." Mia counts until she's cut off by my phone ringing,"Ignore it get back to rehearsals!" I block her out and go over to my phone and it's James.

"It's urgent I'll be back in a sec." She clicks her tongue against the roof of her mouth as I walk out of the music room.

Me-Hi you OK?
James-Do you want the good news or bad news first?
Me-Good, I really need something to brighten up my day!

James-OK well I found a new dance studio and it's the closest one with my age range in it and that has free spaces
Me-And the bad news?

James-...It's in Brazil
Me-What?!
James-I'm moving house next to Eldon cos he's going to the same studio but I don't know how I'm going to cope
Me-When are you going?
James-Tomorrow
Me-But...

James-I'm really sorry I've got to go see you later bye!
Me-Ja...

He hangs up and I come back into the music room and put my phone away.

"Finally! What on earth was that about?" she says.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes. I thought you said it was urgent."
"It was for me, not for you don't be so nosy."
