School was tiring today. You got picked on by the same girls, as you usually do. Today you didn't feel like doing anything. Alas, you had to tutor today, for you had to make enough money for the French trip.

As you made your way home, you recalled the events from today. You took four tests, one for history, another for grammar, science, and one more for math. Your brain was on overdrive and you had to burn it even more while tutoring. The girls picked on you, and the boys were being annoying as ever.

Once you got home you realized you had another hour or so before you had to go to the library to tutor. Laying in bed, you wondered who you would be tutoring today. You knew it was a boy because of his name: Thomas Brodie-Sangster. You hoped he would not try to annoy you, since you knew nothing about him.

Time flew by fast and before you know it, you had to make your way toward the library.

Walking through the doors of the library, you noticed a boy with a notebook in hand reading a book. He looked like one of the boys from your school, so you walked up to him.

"Are you Thomas?" you asked shyly.

He looked up from his book, "Are you Y/N?"

You nodded and sat down.

"Seems like we found eachother...so what do you need help on?"

He looked down.

"History isn't my best topic."

"It wasn't my best topic either," you sympathized with him, "but which topic do you need help on?"

"Government...amendments mainly."

Not knowing which textbooks to bring, you brought them, so you pulled out your history notebook.

You opened up your notes and started asking Thomas questions.

"What is the first amendment?" you asked.

He frowned, you thought you said something wrong.

"The right to bear arms"

You laughed, "Close...that's the second amendment."

He frowned again. This boy frowns a lot, but you couldn't help but think it was a little cute.

He looked up at you.

"I'm sorry about the girls picking on you."

That again, you thought. Was he going to tease you?

"How did you know that?"

"I was the one who sent the teacher to stop them."

You smiled. Atleast someone cares, you thought.

"Oh...well thanks...I needed that. I owe you one."

He nodded, smiling.

"No problem"

Moving on from the topic you asked, "What is the fourth amendment?"

"Ah, that is the right to regulate police searches and stuff like that."

"Close enough" you said, playing with him.

His jaw dropped to the floor, "No! That was spot on and you know it!".

You laughed at his tiny fit. He then saw you laughing and said,

"Glad I can make you laugh after today." He smiled.

It was a genuine smile- not like how other people smile at you and pretend that they care. This smile was genuine. How can a smile make you change a view on someone?

You shook your head-this was not happening.

"What's wrong?"

You looked up,"Nothing...just lost in thoughts."

"Oh okay...you know, you could tutor me tomorrow or something. I don't want you to pass out or anything."

You could feel your cheeks getting red-this definately could not happen.

"No it's fine, I'm good."

"Okay so next question?"

You flipped through the pages of your notebook, looking for an easy question.

"What is Article I?"

"The Legislative Branch."

You were taken aback.

"I thought you said you were having troubles."

He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Why did you make me come all the way here, if you already knew this stuff?" you were angry. You could have done your own homework or relax and enjoy the weekend-but instead this boy brings you out to waste it.

"Is this a joke huh? Just a joke to play on the geek ha ha very funny!" you yelled.

"No-"

"Shut up! You are worse than those girls!"

You didn't care if you were yelling. You were mad and had a good reason. You stormed out and started to walk home. You heard footsteps behind you, and you didn't need to turn around to know who it was.

"Y/N you took it the wrong way!"

Can this boy make me any more irritated?, you wondered.

"And what was the right way I was supposed to take it?" you said still mad, while turning around dramatically.

"I did it so I could spend more time with you."

"And I'm supposed to believe that?"

"Uh well um you don't have to. But it'strue!"

You turned back around walking home. Thomas grabbed your arm.

"Please." He was pleading.

"You have ONE minute to explain and then I'm done."

He shuffled around in his place.

"Ok. Well I like you...a lot! But I never have had the guts to tell you. So I thought having an excuse would make me less nervous, but I guess not."

You stopped, "I am sorry."

"No I am sorry, I should have known that it would have hurt you." Thomas said.

You walked up to him and hugged him.

"Thank you for caring."

He hugged you back and whispered, "I will always care."

You kept hugging until time ran out, and the both of you had to go your seperate ways, but you never stopped talking.
