Chapter seventeen: New girl

"Bella!" Kaylin yelled, running to me. "Hey baby. Someone's up early." I smiled, hugging her. "Aunt Gems woke me up." She replied. "She did. Wow." I replied. She nodded. "Where's daddy?" I asked. "Getting ready for work. He said you have school today. Are you staying?" She questioned. "I do have school. I just need to talk to daddy really quick, because I don't want to be late." I replied. She nodded, and let go of me.

"There's no baby." I said, walking into Harry's room. "What?" He asked, turning around. His white shirt was messed up, and his tie was messy. I sighed, and walked to him. "I'm not pregnant." I replied. He sighed, and smiled. "Good. I don't want to ruin your life." He smiled. I nodded, and fixed his tie. "I came to tell you that. Now, I have to go." I kissed his cheek.

"Today we have a new student, class, this is Eleanor. Eleanor, you can sit next to Bella." Ms. Perry smiled. I waved to Eleanor, and smiled. "Hi." She smiled, sitting down. "Hi, I'm Bella, obviously." I replied. "Nice to meet you. Is this class hard?" She asked. "A little. As a new student, it may be hard. I tutored a few people in this class." I replied. "If I have trouble... will you tutor me?" She asked. "Sure. What other classes did you take?" I questioned. "Um. Business, everyone said they liked business. Of course, math, I took French. I don't know French." She replied. "I took French too. I don't know it either, but my boss actually tutors me in French, since he's fluent." I replied. She nodded.

"Eleanor, hey, why don't you sit with me at lunch?" I asked. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Yeah, come on. My friends love new people. But I will warn you, they are very... inappropriate. They may say a few things, but don't pay attention to them. They're annoying." I laughed. She nodded.

"Guys, this is Eleanor, she's new to the school." I said, sitting down on the bench. Eleanor sat next to me, and smiled. "Hi." Everyone smiled. "Hey." She replied. "So, Bells, how did the double date with Harry go?" Jason asked. I rolled my eyes, and blushed. "Very well, actually." I replied. "No sex?" He asked. I didn't answer. "Oh my god, you dirty American. Where? Under the table? In the stall? On the sink?" He asked. I didn't answer. "On the sink!" He yelled. "Would you shut up." I sighed.

"You're not from here, are you?" Eleanor asked. I shook my head. "Born and raised in California." I replied. "Really?" She asked. I nodded. "That's really cool." She replied. I nodded. "It's fun there. But I moved here when I was fifteen." I replied. She nodded.

"So, I can show you around town?" I asked Eleanor. "Um, actually... I have work." She replied. "Oh, where do you work?" I asked. "I'm actually an intern for a big business." She replied. "Really?" I asked. She nodded. "Part time nanny, too." She smiled. "Really? I'm a nanny too." I replied. "That's cool." She smiled.

"So, what business do you intern at?" I asked. "Well... the thing is... I didn't actually start yet. I start today." She replied. "Oh, really. What are you going to do as an intern?" I asked. "Um, I think the guy said filling in for an assistant, or secretary, since she got fired." She replied. "Wow." I said. She nodded.

"I need to go to my boss' building, would you like to come?" She asked. "Where is it?" She asked. "Twenty first street. Right down the road." I replied. "Oh, I work on twenty first street." She smiled. "Let's get going then. I usually visit my boy... boss at work after school, before I go to his house to watch his six year old." I said. She nodded, and smiled.

"This is your boss' building?" She asked, once we walked into Harry's building. "Yeah, it's his building." I replied. "Your boss is Harry Styles?" She asked. I nodded. "I'm his new assistant." She replied.
