These words are lies and leave terrible scars,
They take my breath and kill inside,
They make tears swell,
in the back of eyes.
It hurts so bad but what do you do?
You move on as I am no use.
AT LEAST I TRIED
At least I can say I tried?
But your broken bones and wounded heart were no competition against the heart ache I was in,
You never cared and never shared the hurt you were in,
So why should I try to understand,
When no words would escape from your mouth,
And your eyes showing no emotion to the way I felt.
YOURSELF TO BLAME
You've only got yourself to blame for the way you treated me,
Don't point no fingers,
Don't say no excuses,
Don't spread no lies
As you've already lost my heart
And my feelings I felt towards you.
