Battle of Coincidences?

Chapter 7

Manik arrives at the same hotel as Nandini and Navya. {What a coincidence ;)}
Navya and Nandini were in one corner while Manik was in the conference room.
It was the calm before the storm.

After having a really successful meeting, Manik offered to have dinner as an obligation even though he just wanted to rush off and get home.

Dinner went on for a while, and well it was time for dessert.
Manik was relieved that his long day would come to an end but to his bad luck just when he was about to get up to greet goodbye to his delegates, a waiter dropped the bowl on his clothes

And Bam, there goes Angry Manik Malhotra

The waiter apologized as he looked at Manik's threatening face

To his surprise, Manik didn't lash out because of the delegates with him and just told him to be careful next time, maintaining the glare.
He excused himself and walked towards the washroom.

Meanwhile,
Navya and Nandini were having a really good time, laughing over things, and in the spur of the moment, Navya spilled her drink on Nandini.
Nandini looks at her Oops face and before she completed her sentence she ran towards the washroom

Nandini and Manik bumped into each other again and that was the last thing they were expecting that night.

Manik looked at her angrily and said "You? You are here also now. Are you following me?"

Nandini retaliated instead of staying silent and said "Who are you? What do you think of yourself? Why would I follow you?"

Manik dragged her towards the wall and said Youuuu
Nandini shivered and said ''Leave me, it's hurting"
And Manik realized what he was doing, he let her go and left hurriedly.

Nandini walked off, with teary eyes. She thought to herself 'why is he such a monster? Itna rude koi hota hai?'

Nandini went back to Navya with a sad face. Navya looked at her and asked her what happened and she just said 'Manik'.
Did he reach here also? Navya exclaimed. What did he do?
I don't want to talk about, I just want to go home. Nandini held Navya's hand and dragged her out of the place.

Manik walked back towards his table thinking how Nandini never leaves a chance to get him angry, muttering angrily under his breath.

Sorry gentlemen. We have finalized all the important details, thank you for waiting back. Let's call it a day.

He bid adieu to them and left to go home.
