Manik literally stood there numb, he didn't say a word for a minute. He somehow gathered himself, took his car keys, and rushed towards the car. Cabir followed him and the rest were really shocked and didn't understand what just happened.

Manik was driving recklessly and Cabir was just sitting silently beside him. He didn't have the courage to stop him.
Manik was thinking to himself 'This is my fault, why do I have to be so harsh?' Few tears rolled down his cheek.

'I hope she is fine, wherever she is. Cabir, she will be fine right?' He asked meekly.
Cabir was really shocked to see Manik in that state. He has always been so strong. Manik breaking down was really new and Cabir didn't know how to react to that. He just nodded and hoped that everything is fine.

Manik kept driving faster.

What really happened on the call?

Cabir on the call

Person: Hello, what the fuck do you think of yourself? Where is Nandini? Mr. Manik Malhotra? Answer me?

Cabir puts the call on speaker, so Manik could hear

Person: She had informed me that you have given her a lot of work and she will be late. It's past 12, do you realize how wrong that is? Her phone is switched off and she is not at home. Where is she? Hello? Are you listening?

The person was literally screaming through the phone.

Manik was taken aback after listening to that and he could not understand what did he mean.

Cabir: Hey, who are you? We don't know where is she. We'll find it out. Give us some time.

Manik was still not able to come to terms with that. Thousands of thoughts came rushing to his head. Where was she? Was she okay?

Cabir ended the call with that person and turned to Manik.

Manik reached the office after driving like a crazy person. They got down the car and saw that the office was shut.
Where is this girl? Manik mumble to himself.

They walked ahead and saw the Watchman dozing off at the gate. Manik went up to him and slapped him, he woke up startled.

Kaun hai bey? (Who the fuck is this) The Watchman shouted still half asleep.
Manik was really enraged. 

'I am the Devil of Death', Manik shouted back.

The watchman opened his eyes and saw Manik standing there. 'Oh sir, you are here at this hour?' I am sorry sir.

Shut up and first tell me if you checked if there was someone inside before shutting the office?

Um, Sir.. Umm, he fumbled.

Yes or no? Manik asked very sternly.
No sir, he replied.

This time Cabir gave him a slap. Manik took the keys from him and rushed to open the gates.
He went inside and opened the office doors. He wanted to find Nandini as soon as possible and he was hoping that she is inside.
He started calling her out. 'Nandini where are you? Nandini comes out here. '
There was no response.
Nanduuuuuuuu. He called her out once more and he hoped she is there.

Nandini was lying there unconscious but she could hear faint voices. She slightly called Manik and he was thankfully around her table. He heard her. He thanked his stars that he found her finally. All his prayers were fulfilled.
