CHAPTER 4

With a bright new morning, the sunshine made its way, and there you go the alarm saga continues with Nandini.

After waking up reluctantly and doing her morning prayers. She started this very important day of her life.

Meanwhile,
Our angry young man was sleeping like a cute baby, tucked under his duvet without letting the sunlight disturb his deep slumber.

Haha, not for so long. There was a splash on his face soon after and he woke up with a jerk.

No points for guessing it was our one and only Cabir, who else has the guts to disturb The Manik Malhotra's sleep?

Manik woke up hurling abuses at him while Cabir laughed and reminded him about how they had a presentation, which Manik has completely forgotten about.

Manik: Oh shit man! It just slipped off my mind what would without you? Thank you.

Cabir: Since when did we decide to be this formal?

Manik: Chal saale. (Laughs) Let me get ready now. Joining you downstairs in 10.

Nandini's house
Our happy girl was getting ready for the perfect favorite outfit, matching earrings, and a stupid grin.
She was truly waiting for this fresh beginning.

Grabbing all her files and her lunch box, she ran out of the house, not getting late today for sure.

Meanwhile, Manik got ready and joined Cabir for breakfast and they left for office together.

At the office, Nandini reached the reception and completed all formalities for the job and was asked to report to cabir.
(She was waiting for cabir in his cabin)

Manik's cabin

Cabir: Before the presentation. I forgot to tell you something.

Manik: Yeah, tell me.

Cabir: I have appointed a Personal Assistant for you. She'll join today. You will like her.

Manik: Whatever.

Cabir: Anyway. You go down to the conference hall. I'll join in a while. All the best.

Manik: Thanks, buddy.

Cabir's Cabin

Nandini: Good morning sir.

Cabir: Hey, Miss Nandini.

Nandini: Yes.

Cabir: You will be working for Manik.
He is your boss.
So let me tell you some dos and don'ts. Listen carefully.

Nandini: Yes sir(Nervously)

Cabir: You have to be on time always.
Never ever argue with your boss

(Nandu was hearing all this very seriously)

Cabir: Seeing her expressions.
Couldn't stop laughing.

Nandu: What happened, sir?

Cabir: Ms.Nandini.
You don't need to be scared.
Just remember one thing your boss is like a coconut, he just needs tender love which is missing in his life. He is not what he shows.

Nandini : (thinking why is he telling her so much?) Okay sir.

Cabir: Okay so you get all the details about our recent projects and his schedule from the reception and be ready to meet your boss in an hour.

Nandini nodded and left.

Cabir left for the presentation.
