We sat in the waiting room Lou and I and a bunch of people from the pack in silence my heart sped up every time a nurse walked towards us one by one everyone was greeted with their loved ones all better some left with broken hearts and one less member it was just Lou and I left the infirmary was bound to close any second "smith family" I grabbed Lou up and dashed to the nurse "how is she how is my baby" she gently placed her hand on mine her emotion was undetectable "alpha they are doing just fine" I smiled so hard "okay where are they" the nurse frowned "I'm sorry its closing time you're going to have to wait till tomorrow" my eyes flew open "hell no" she jumped back "take me to see my damn wife now" I growled at her "carter I'm sorry but" I placed Lou down "look here I want to see my wife now and if I dont-" "mommy" I turned around to see Lou crawl into a room I ran to the room and what I saw broke my heart the baby had 2 needles In him Lisa had like 4 and a oxygen mask on "I know your worried" the nurse whispered "its just a iv giving the baby nutrients and hydrating the baby" I walked over to the plastic crib he was so small he had my black hair it broke m heart seeing my lil baby like this and lisa my blood boiled

My eyes fluttered open I opened my mouth to attempt to say something but I couldn't "don't worry son I swear you'll be home soon" carter I missed him soo much I heard him sobbing "I'm so sorry Lisa I should have never left damn this is all my fault everything I bet you'd be happier if we never met" my body was in soo much pain I'm not just gone let carter bet himself up if I can just - he walks over and sits on my bed and starts apologizing I tap him with my foot he ignores it I tap him again "Lou give daddy a minute he's talki-" he looks at the chair where Lou is sound asleep I tap him again slowly he turns and faces me "Lisa" he grabs me into gentle hug "carter" he gets up and gets Lou I scoot over and we all lay down I can finally sleep peacefully
