Sokka and Reader

Sokka's POV-

We are at the Fire Nation waiting for Aang to come home from something he did. "Where have you been? We've been worried sick." Katara says as we see Aang enter the cave with ashes on him.

"I got invited to play with some kids after school."

I jump up in shock. "After what?!" I say.

"I enrolled in a Fire Nation school, and I'm going back tomorrow." He says.

"Enrolled in what?!" I say as I fall backwards in disbelief. "Aang, I'm trying to be mature and not immediately shoot your idea, but it sounds...really terrible."

"Yeah, we got our outfits. What do you need to go to school for?" Toph asks him.

"Every minute I'm in that classroom, I'm learning new things about the Fire Nation. I already have a picture of Fire Lord Ozai. And here's one that I made out of noodles." He tells us.

"Impressive, I admit, but I still think it's too dangerous." I say.

"I guess we'll never find out about the secret river then. It goes right to the Fire Lord's palace. We were supposed to learn about it in class tomorrow." Aang informs me.

"Hmm, I am a fan of secret rivers...Fine, let's stay for a few more days." I tell him.

"Flamey-o, hotman!" Aang says then runs off somewhere.

I look at Katara, but she just shrugs her shoulders.

**********************************Time skip to the dance********************************************

"I can't believe we're having a dance party. It seems so...silly." I say as I set down a candle.

"Don't think of it as a dance party, but as a cultural event celebrating fancy footwork!"Aang says.

"They're coming! Everyone stop bending." Toph says.

Everybody comes and just stands around. Aang starts to dance and two girls giggle. "Who knew Twinkle Toes could dance?" Toph says to Katara.

Aang starts to dance with this one girl. "Wow, they look pretty good together." I tell Katara.

"Eh, if that's what you like..." Katara says barely containing her envy.

Aang comes over to Katara and holds out his hand. "I don't know, Aang. These shoes aren't really right for dancing, and I-I'm not sure that I know how to-" Katara starts to say.

"Take my hand." Aang says with a smile.

"OK." Katara says with a smile.

"U-um, would you like to dance as well?" I hear a girl ask me.

I turn around and see a girl that has gray eyes, long black hair, tan skin, and a red dress. "Sure. My name is Wang. What is your name?" I tell her.

"My name is Gwenavirre. But you can call me Gwen." She tells me.

I take her hand and lead her in a dance right next to Aang and Katara. I think they look great together. Gwen starts to firebend while dancing. "You are a firebender?" I ask her, a bit shocked.

"Yeah." She says.

"It is a dancing party." I hear a man say.

Everyone starts to flee. "Can I come with you, Wang?" Gwen asks me.

"Sure," I tell her.

I lead her to Appa and we both hop on. After us, Aang, Toph, and Katara comes. "Yip yip!" Aang says.

Appa flies up in the air. "Wait, are you the Avatar?" Gwen asks Aang.

"Yes, and where did you come from?"

"Wang said I could come," Gwen says while pointing at me.

"First of all, his name is Sokka. Second of all, do you support Fire Lord Ozai?" Katara asks her.

"No, I hate him," she says.

"OK." Katara says.

Appa flies and flies.
