Jason's POV-

"Hurry up, Piper!" I say while racing up the ladder to the Zeus' cabin roof. 

I made it to the roof as she is only starting up the ladder. "I'm trying!" she yells up the me.

I just hope she will love what I'm doing.

"Alright Pipes. You finally made it up here," I say teasing her.

"Oh, just shut it," she says with a smirk.

I smile. "Have you been wondering why I wanted our date to be up here?" I ask her.

"Well, yeah I have," she says.

"OK. Do you want to know what we are going to do?" I ask her.

"Of course." She sounds a little annoyed.

"I want to fly over Camp Half-Blood," I tell her, not saying the rest.

"Oh, that's all?" she asks me.

She knows me so well. "Well, I thought that we could dance while I keep us flying," I tell her while fidgeting with my hands.

"Sounds like a good date," a woman's voice says.

I turn around to see a beautiful woman. "Mom! What are you doing here?" Piper says, sounding exasperated.

"Oh, I am happy that Jason, here, is finally doing something romantic for you," Aphrodite says.

"I have been romantic before!" I defend myself.

"When?" Piper asks. 

"That time we hung out with Percy," I say.

"We had to watch The Little Mermaid with him," Piper says.

"That's not-" I start to say but Piper interrupts me.

"And he sang Under the Sea. I don't want to hear him singing again," she says.

"You see, Jason, you're not as romantic as you think you are," Aphrodite finishes.

Are they ganging up on me? The goddess of love and her daughter? Seriously? And when has Piper ever agreed on anything with her mom? I start laughing. I look up at Aphrodite and shut my mouth as quickly as I could. "Why were you laughing?" Aphrodite yells at me.

"I-I thought you were testing me," I say quickly.

"Testing you? You think I was testing you? Piper, why couldn't you have fallen in love with someone that is a tinsy bit smarter?" Aphrodite asks.

"Hey, I am smart!" I say.

"Mom, he is smarter than Percy and Leo combined," Piper defends me.

"Yeah, that's true." Aphrodite says. "Zeus is calling me back to Olympus. I will be watching you, Jason Grace."

Aphrodite disappears in a poof of pink smoke. "She finally left," I mutter to myself.

"What was that?" Piper asks me.

"Nothing," I say as my head snaps up.

"Let's just go on this date," Piper says.

"Sounds great to me," I say.

I wrap my hands on her waist and I feel a tugging feeling go through my stomach as we start to fly up. I us just float and ask, "Ready to dance?"

She nods. I put one hand on her waist and the other holding her hand. We start to dance slowly. I look up onto the orange sky where I can see some of the constellations. I notice one that looks like a huntress. I then look into Piper's eyes. Her eyes are so mesmerizing. "Jason! What are you doing?" Piper yells at me.

I then realize that we are falling. I guess I forgot to make the winds to hold us up. I quickly make the winds catch us. "Oops," I say.

"Oops? That's all you say?"Piper says angrily.

"I'm so sorry that I made us fall!" I yell at her.

Why is she getting so upset? "Piper, what's the matter?" I ask her when she turns away.

"I just want a happy life," she says.

"I thought you do," I tell her.

"I do. It's just that whenever we go on a date, they always seem to mess up," she says.

"Yes, but that makes them special," I tell her as I hug her.

"Yeah, you're right," she says.

"So, you know how Aphrodite said that you loved me? Is that true?" I ask her quietly.

"Yes it is," she says. "Do you love me?"

"I love you with all of my heart," I tell her truthfully.

"And I love you to the sky and back," she says.

We separate from our hug and I gently kiss her lips. "You love me to the sky and back? I can take you there!" I say to Piper after we stop kissing. 

I grab her around the waist and start flying upward while Piper laughs.
