Lucy's POV-
"Lockwood!" I call. He comes walking in, handsomeness and all. We recently started dating and we couldn't be any more happier. "We really need a vacation."
"But we can't get away from the business," he says, being sensible.
"I know," I say. "Maybe someday. A girl can dream, right?"
"Yeah," he says, grinning his pearly tooth smile.
"I'm going to bed, I guess," I say, rising from my chair.
"Nighty night," he says. "Don't let the bedbugs bite."
I laugh as I walk up the stairs to my room.
---
A scream pierced the air and I jump out of bed. I look out of the window and see two people standing next to the ghost lamp. One pushes the other out of the way and they fall on the ground. The one on the ground is holding a. . . pen. Hm, that's weird.I run out of my room, grabbing a rapier and some salt bombs on the way. George is already going down the stairs and Lockwood is behind me. We make it outside and deal with the ghosts.
"What the Hades that?" the girl asks after we took care of the ghosts.
"Ghosts," I say. "You're not from around here are you?"
"No," the boy says. "We're from America and we came here for a vacation."
"Is Nico around?" the girl asks. "Because, he is the only one to bring ghosts around."
"No. We've never heard of a Nico," Lockwood says. "Its the Problem. Ghosts everywhere and they can kill you. Our profession is actually ridding London of ghosts."
"That's weird," the guy mutters. "In America, we don't have ghosts."
"That's because its only here," George says. "You're lucky that we came out to help you."
"George!" I say loudly. "Sorry about him."
"No, no its fine," the girl says. "Thank you for saving us. Now, can we stay here until morning? Then we can leave London. Percy, my boyfriend, booked this trip without seeing if it was ghost ridden."
"Sorry Annabeth," the black haired boy says. "You know we can't go on electronics. Or else they will find us."
These people are very weird. "Who will find you?" I ask.
"Uh-" the boy says, getting a deer in the headlights look.
"My parents," Annabeth says. "They don't really like Percy."
"OK," Lockwood says. "Let's go inside so we don't get ghost touched."
We walk inside and they look around at our house. They stay until morning and leave once it was safe outside.
"Those people were weird," George says.
"Even weirder than you," I say and we all laugh.
And this is for @Hunter_of_Artemis101.
