Chapter Seven - "After We Make Out For A Little More"
☼ ☼ ☼ ☼ ☼ ☼ ☼
My junior year of high school had come to an end, and it came faster than I thought it would. I never really thought I'd be the type of person to miss high school, considering the fact that all of my friends couldn't wait to get out, but now that senior year was inching closer and closer, I didn't really want it here.
To celebrate the end of our school year, Kate hosted a party and we all got drunk and had a really good time. It was warm out – a perfect summer night – and our class was high off of having no school work for the next three months or so.
I didn't remember much towards the end of the night, but I woke up in Chase's bed with a pair of his sweatpants and one of his t-shirts as my pajamas. I rolled over and saw he was awake too, rubbing his eyes and yawning.
I smiled and leaned over, pecking his cheek. "Hi."
"Well, that's something I could get used to waking up to," he smirked, glancing down at my lips and kissing them.
"I had fun last night," I whispered once we pulled apart.
"Me too," he whispered back, kissing me again.
It didn't take long for him to pull me on top of him and start making out because I really couldn't resist it. He didn't have a shirt on, he was sleepy and sexy, and that's my total weakness.
Sleepy, shirtless, attractive boys.
But there was no problem with that. He was my smoking hot boyfriend, after all.
"I love you so much," he muttered into my neck.
"I love you so much more," I breathed, running my fingers through his hair. He sat up as I straddled him and looped my arms around his neck.
His lips went right back to mine as I felt his hands travel up and down my sides, giving me goosebumps. One of his hands went to the waistband of his sweatpants that I was wearing, and I smiled against his lips as his fingers played aimlessly with it.
He was about to start tugging it down until we were rudely interrupted by his door opening out of nowhere.
"Chase I-" a voice sounded. I jumped off of Chase like he just caught the plague.
Chase's twenty-one-year-old, attractive-as-hell, totally-hunky older brother Grayson was standing in the doorway looking as angelic as ever. He was pretty much just a more rugged version of Chase. His big brown eyes were wide with shock as he ran a hand through his thick, dark hair that was so similar to Chase's. He was dressed in gym attire, basketball shorts, a muscle tank, and Nike's.
Not to mention he looked utterly embarrassed.
"Whoa. Sorry," he muttered.
"Knock, man. It's called knocking," Chase sighed, ruffling his hair. "What?"
"I'm uh, I'm going to the gym. I didn't know if you wanted to come," he cleared his throat. "Hey Lindsay," he acknowledged me and waved with a smile.
"Hi," I squeaked out, waving back and smiling as well. I tried to ignore the fact that he just walked in on us and pretended not to be phased by the whole thing. So awkward.
"No, thanks though. What are you doing home anyway?" Chase crinkled his forehead.
"I came home late last night. I was out and I was gonna stay at my friends house, but then I got a ride home," Grayson explained.
