“Are you wearing Damon’s leather jacket?” Katlyn asked as I walked to biology.

“Yeah why?” I wore jeans with a white t-shirt and Damon’s jacket.

“You guys had that love making moment didn’t you?” She grinned from ear to ear.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I tried not to smile but I couldn’t help but not too. Last night had been amazing. It still felt like Damon was part of me.

“What don’t you know?” Cam asked as he fell into step with us.

“Cass and Damon had the love making,” Katlyn said. Cam’s eyes darkened but then it was gone.

“What makes you think that?” I checked to make sure Dalvin was safe in my bag.

“You’re wearing his jacket. You’ve never worn a guy’s stuff before. Heath always tried to get you to wear his letter jacket but you never would. Cam did she ever wear your jacket?” Katlyn asked.

“Kat I really don’t think Cass wants talk about her sex life,” Cam said dryly.

“You’re just mad Damon’s doing her and not you.”

Cam stormed off and I gaped at Katlyn. “What the hell! Katlyn that was totally uncalled for.” I couldn’t believe she had said that.

She shrugged. “At least you know he still has feelings for you.”

I shook my head and left her. When I entered biology Cam was sitting in Damon’s old seat. Danielson had been right, Damon did get a new schedule, one that we only had two classes together. “I’m sorry she said that. Katlyn had no right,” I said as I slid into my seat.

Cam just shrugged. “No matter what I wouldn’t have gotten you. Eldren wanted you to mate with Heath so even if Damon wasn’t here I still wouldn’t have gotten you.”

Thankfully class started then. I didn’t know what to say to Cam. From the corner of my eye I watched him. Cam had always made me feel special. I loved being around him, but now I didn’t feel it. Being around him there was little effect on me, it was nothing like Damon. Just thinking about Damon made my body burn. Damon was who I was meant to be with, not Cam.

When class ended Damon was waiting at my locker. “Hey there.” He smiled and slid his arms around my waist. “I really like seeing you in that jacket.”

I giggled as I let him kiss me. The kiss was supposed to be quick but the moment our lips touched the kiss became powerful. It wasn’t a make out but a strong long kiss that made Damon’s fingers knot in my shirt. When we pulled away we were both breathing a little harder than normal.

I smiled. “I think last night was the best night of my life.”

Damon picked me up and spun me. “I would hope so.” He stopped and became serious. “It was amazing, just like you.”

“Don’t make me puke. That’s my sister and I don’t want to hear that,” Will joked as he walked up to us.

Damon gave Will a mischief smiled but I stopped him before he could make a comment. “So what’s up Will?”

“After school Dad and the rest of the new Elders want to talk to you two,” he answered.

“Any idea what about?” asked Damon.
